The United Nations General Assembly's first committee, which deals with disarmament, global challenges, and threats to peace that affect the international community, voted 152-5, on Friday, on a resolution concerning "the risk of nuclear proliferation in the Middle East". The resolution states that Israel must dispose of all its nuclear weapons and place its nuclear sites under the International Atomic Energy Agency's purview.
The resolution, which is submitted every year to the UNGA in New York, was submitted by Egypt and sponsored by the Palestinian Authority and 19 counties including Bahrain, Jordan, Morocco, and the United Arab Emirates.
Canada, Israel, Micronesia, Palau, and the United States voted against the resolution. Another 24 countries abstained, including European Union members.
While Israel has never officially admitted to having nuclear weapons, the resolution clearly singles out the Jewish state.

The headline sounds like the same “the UN hates Israel” crap I’ve heard since Israel got nukes.

What nuclear weapons?
Article says they pass it every year and receive 5 or so no votes, with over 100 yeas, one of which NO votes was cast by USA which is a veto vote because we are a “permanent” member of Security Council. The other 4 permanent members are: Russia, China, UK, and France.
Yup, I’d get right on that. Along with sniffing Zyklon B as a hobby. The nukes are the only reason Israel still exists.
Israel doesn’t have any nuclear weapons, they want people to think that they have them by not confirming that they don’t have them.
They have put on a radical Act to make everybody think that they do have them though.
I should have said, the reason I don’t think Israel actually has nuclear weapons. Because a country that is new to nuclear weapons must engage in a lot of testing to ensure their Mastery of nuclear weapons. What we have is a single instance where are new color weapon was exploded between Antarctica and South Africa which everybody thinks was a partnership between Israel and South Africa. Is South Africa was really developing a nuclear weapon, that technology would be highly guarded and they wouldn’t automatically have just shared that with Israel.

It was quite an act, then. They gave the man who publicized Israel’s nuclear arsenal ten years in the slammer for revealing state secrets. He either sincerely believed that Israel had the bomb and that it was worth ten years of his life for the reveal, or he was a willing accomplice, and either a super patriot, well-paid, or both.
If think about it it is a worthwhile investment, who says that cell is not empty in the guy is really living out there in a desert and they have him supplied with everything that he could possibly want.
I do believe that Israel has all the precursors in place to quickly get a nuclear weapon in deploy it. They spent tons of money putting all the curtains on the windows so that everything is in place and all they have to do is install the window and they’re Off to the Races. If I ran is shown to have got a nuclear weapon watch Israel, I bet there will be a nuclear testing program that will be kicked off that we will just will not believe what the reason for it is. They will say it is to demonstrate their capability but what they’re really doing is is actually finishing up the nuclear program that they have in deep freeze.
Israel won’t do it!
