Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi said Saturday she and her family were "heartbroken and traumatized" by the violent attack on her husband at their California home.

"The suspect pulled the hammer away from Mr. Pelosi...San Francisco police chief Bill Scott told reporters, saying later that Paul Pelosi was hit at least once.

... I must be alone in my belief that the police have no duty to air the Pelosi’s dirty laundry. ..

I agree however, the press and social media will do what they do. Nice Twitter is being opened up.
What will be interesting is how the courts will handle the case.
I would suspect charges to be dismissed.
Someone please explain this to me:
In the time it took for police to arrive, be let into the home, and walk to the wrestling match….
How did an 82 year old man wrestle with a 42 (?) year old man to a stalemate over a hammer for that time?
I’ve boxed, done MMA and a little Jujitsu. 30 seconds in a fight is a LONG time. There is no way an 82 year old man could outlast and outmuscle a man that looks burley. No. Way.
There is so much that is off about this story.
This sordid affair appears to be entirely as private as those involved want to keep it.
Pelosi might want to shut up a little bit about the nation, however, since her own house is such a steaming pile.
It’s no longer a private matter when the Dems try to pin it on us. Especially when the president does it.
Yes, she visited him at. . . Zuckerburg General Hospital. You can’t make these things up.
Kudos in the main to Zuckerburg for their generosity, I don’t mind his name is on it.
The other guy was only 42.
Here’s how I think the Republicans should handle this: They should condemn the attack, and express their hope that Paul Pelosi has a complete recovery. They should refrain from any speculation about a possible motive or relationship between Paul Pelosi and David Depape. The Republicans should then announce that when they take back the house, they will hold hearings on the rash of attacks against prominent political figures, starting with the recent attack on Paul Pelosi. They should pledge to call a variety of witnesses, closely examine the 911 call and subsequent police reports, and invite the Democrats to join them in this pursuit of the facts. It will be interesting to see how the Democrats respond.
I agree about sordid affairs, but, the problem is, they are trying to blame Trump, conservative rhetoric, and conservatives for it.
Therefore I think it is important that the truth of who DePape really is gets out there.
Oh, can the theatrics, Nanzi.
You suck at it.
Where is the police record on Dave?
Where is the job record for Dave?
Twitter opened up in the nick of time!
If only it had been free during the lockdowns.
Certainly, and Drugs, too.
But you'd have to be FSB to get a look at 'em.
I think I said that….
And just like that, whatever trace of sympathy I had for this pud - which isn’t much, but I was like “wow, poor old guy, he must have been so scared,” and whatnot - went POOF.
I’m sorry to hear that once Paul Pelosi is back with Nancy by some strange coincidence the two will be left alone in that big house and he will have an accident and fall down the stairs and sustain serious injuries and will end up back in the hospital. Nancy will once again be traumatized by Paul’s accident. Of course it will be Trump’s fault.
it sure does...
At his age, you would think he could afford and be able to wait until AFTER the election. AFTER the election, Paul! You go out cruising for your hammer fix AFTER the election.
Well, to be fair, he fell using exercise equipment has already been used. :0)
NewsMax has apparently been taken over by ordinary run of the mill propagandist presstitutes.
