Good for Trump. Anything he normally says is twisted by these commies. These leftists freaks keep changing the definition of words. It is almost guaranteed that they would invent meaning in anything he says. Given the abuse of the Bill of Rights by these communists, I am fully expecting that the 5A will be given new meaning by the end of the day. Just watch CNN and MSNBC tonight and see.

Things sure have changed in just a few years, it’s certainly not like it was when most of us grew up.
I thought this only was applicable in criminal cases.
That is pretty much a fait accompli at this point...not because Trump has done anything wrong, but because at this point, there is nothing to stop the deep state from doing so.
22 years ago I remember being on this board and discussing the likelihood of Bill Clinton suspending the Constitution in wake of Y2K.
I opined then that he wouldn't, not because he and his inner circle lacked the desire to do so, but because they were uncertain they would be able to get away with it.
That has become my guiding principal as to what the left will actually do. We all know what they want to do, and all their actions will be a movement in that direction. How boldy and quickly they move is entirely dependent on their calculation of their odds of getting away with it.
Their raid of Mar-a-lago was a trial balloon to see how much outrage it would generate (with the added bonus that it may provoke ill-advised reactions). Given the response to date, it's pretty much a given they will keep pushing the envelope.
I think Trump was honestly naive about many things prior to being elected and experiencing the swamp first hand. Now he understands that the swamp will use nearly every instrument of power to destroy their foes, and there is absolutely nothing to gain by providing them more ammo by testifying to anything.

Even those answers are a bad idea.
Even a slight contradiction WILL be construed as “lying to a federal investigator”, and prosecuted as a felony.
