Documentary filmmaker and gun control proponent Michael Moore published his idea for a new Second Amendment Sunday, and it features a ban on all semiautomatic firearms.
He announced his new amendment via Twitter:
Moore posted his new amendment on this webpage, explaining that it would be the 28th Amendment and that it would repeal and replace the Second Amendment.
Moore’s news amendment erases any talk of a right to “keep and bear arms,” positing, instead, an “inalienable right to be kept safe from gun violence.”

Again, I wonder how much time he spends living in France or even Switzerland compared to the United States. Does he carry US or EUROS cash in his wallet (if he actually does carry cash)? Did he send his daughter to school in Europe or America?

I mean, who knew it was so simple? Just a minor oversight, a clerical error.
Estimates vary, but it’s believed by historians that somewhere around 100 million people were killed by various totalitarian governments around the world in that century. With guns, mostly.
Not counting the wars, mind you. That’s another 35 to 50 million.
Now the Fat Boy needs 67 Senators, 292 Representatives and 38 States to sign off on his Amendment and he’s good to go. Oh and then there’s the whole going out and collecting them thing.
I want an inalienable right to be kept safe from government violence. No? Well, then we need a 2nd Amendment.
