Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said on this week’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday” that he did not believe if the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, it would change the outcome of this year’s midterm elections.

There was a story today about how the liberals are shocked that the reaction to the leaked ruling has been little more than a shrug by most voters, even most democrats. They really expected mass protests would erupt in every city like the BLM riots in 2020.
Yep.
Lindsey also stated stacy of Georgia would be his choice to have the votes counted correctly
It won’t change abortion much either. It will still be legal here in NJ and probably most jurisdictions where the vast majority of abortions are performed.
ML/NJ
It might energize some leftists but I don’t think it will have much of an impact at this point on the elections (plus the country is fairly evenly divided on the topic)
Yep, blind squirrel finds a nut.
We need change.
Overturn Linda.
Lindsey sees which way the wind is blowing today.
So, he’s a conservative again, until the far-left regains some traction.
Then, he can resume hugging Schumer and his merry band of socialists.
Linda hasn’t been overturned since her boyfriend Juan “Lettuce” McStain shrugged off this mortar coil.
IDK.
The ruling isn’t official and won’t be pronounced for a few days.
“Turning” one or two races to Commie-Red doesn’t produce the upset that is ESSENTIAL.
I am afraid he is wrong. The mid-terms will change, not because of the decision itself, but because of the maladroit responses by GOP politicians to trick questions about the decision.
Right or not, Linda can GFH.
In analyzing election campaigns and prospects, it helps to distinguish between political fundamentals and the noisy and usually transitory effects of the news cycle that can influence perceptions and skew polls. With the dismal performance of the Biden administration and Democratic Congress, the political fundamentals heavily favor the GOP this year.
Moreover, public attitudes on Roe and abortion are well-settled and increasingly favor the GOP, with the Dems wedded to extreme views and obnoxious conduct intended to intimidate rather than persuade. The leak of the impending ruling is a desperate move to stoke the news cycle and influence the Court. The Court will not change its vote and decision, but since the Dems control the news media, they are also attempting to use it to rouse the Democratic base.
In spite of the noise, the Dems have not seen an increase in online donations, while some life and family oriented Democrats are having their eyes opened by their party's unseemly and extreme lust for abortion. In spite of the leak of the Court's impending termination of Roe, the net political fundamentals remain the same, or are slightly accruing to the GOP, with the Dems facing potentially epic losses in the midterm elections.
Shrug indeed. Alot of people are pretty much out of outrage from left over the past years. The riots, the deaths, the arson, anything covid, cancel culture, etc. Now they are worried about the economy and the cost of everything to do anything more than a shrug.
I doubt that anyone who favors abortion was going to be
voting for anyone on the right anyway.
It may be a bigger bridge to cross than we think for some
Republicans though, who don’t see it our way on that topic.
I’m hoping Graham was right. If not, it will be our side
who fails to perform.
