Russian supplies will last 'no more than three days': Putin's men are running out of food, ammunition and fuel, Ukraine says, as attacks on Mariupol fail and offensives elsewhere are 'largely stalled'

Vladimir Putin's troops only have enough food, fuel and ammunition for another three days of fighting in Ukraine, Kyiv's generals claimed today, as attacks on the besieged city of Mariupol were turned back and offensives elsewhere in the country remained stalled.

Logistical failings by Russian forces including their inability to establish a fuel pipeline to supply troops at the front has left them facing the imminent prospect of running out, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine claimed in their morning update.

Meanwhile British intelligence said attempts by Moscow to capture the southern city of Mariupol - seen as a key target for Putin to be able to claim any semblance of success in his 'special military operation' - 'continue to be repulsed' amidst heavy fighting.

Offensives elsewhere in the country - such as in the cities of Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv - 'have endured yet another day of limited progress with most forces largely stalled', the Ministry of Defence added.

Ukraine's assessment tallies with other Western experts who predicted that Russian forces are likely to reach 'culmination' this week, the point at which supplies built up for initial attacks will run out - forcing Russia to stop its offensive and start defending while waiting for reinforcements to arrive.

Taking an 'operational pause' will leave Russian troops vulnerable to counter-attack by Ukrainian forces, who today claimed to have re-taken the city of Makariv on the outskirts of Kyiv - capturing a key highway in the process and allowing them to block Russian troops from surrounding the city from the northwest.

We can hope. Supposedly they did just retake a key Kiev suburb.

So just 3 more days of nonstop coverage and opinions about the war, and we can get back to highlighting bidens miserable performance records again? Conservative news can’t be interrupted onmthe coverage of the war long enough to make solid cases for why Biden should be impeached and to highlight how awful his faux leadership is.

This is the differenc ebetween conservative and liberal news. For 4 straight years the left hammered Trump 24/7, and nothing interrupted that. Our side begins to hammer, but all too, often end up saying “oh, look, a squirrel”

Ukrainian troops also cut off Russian supply routes to Irpin, Bucha and Hostomel.

So. Zelensky can stop begging for everybody and his brother to risk WWIII and implement a NO-FLY zone, then?

China might have a few weapons to pay for that huge gas contract.

That is truly amazing! Putin ran out of gas, food, ammo, generals, troops and nerve two weeks ago. Go back and look, from day one it’s Putin to run out of ____ in ____ days! The Russia, Russia, Russia 2.0 hucksters are more laughable than climate change liars. When your drop dead date passes, just make up a new one. 99% feeding at the western disinfo trough won’t look up.

“The DM keeps reeling them in.”

The problem with propaganda is that you’re supposed to make the other team believe it. You’re not supposed to believe it yourself. Too many Uke supporters keep drinking their own kool-aid.

Greg Gutfeld has the best take on this for Americans.

This war would never have happened if Trump was President.

All this misery and destruction belongs to the Democrats.

Logistics is not the strong suit of the Russian army. If somehow the Ukrainians were able to disrupt the Russian Navy’s ability to land troops and supplies from the Black Sea into southeastern Ukraine, the Russian position in Ukraine would be untenable.

It’s a race to see which happens first — Russia runs out of supplies, or we have Fusion Power for daily use. Both of these are “right around the corner”.
