Some fans of other teams hold grudges against Brady because he beat them again and again. I thought that the Bills fan-base was angry with Brady, but then I met Jets' fans.....

People love to hate Brady, perhaps because he reminds us that we can be so much better than we actually are.I think it has more to do with the fact that fans of other teams hate members of the competing teams, particularly one as successful at beating their teams as Brady has been. When I watched football, I always admired Brady's ability to succeed even tough I was never a Patriots fan. However, I have not watched football for years and no longer care about any of the players.

Too many people are just jealous of anyone who is successful. All I have is respect and admiration for Tom Brady. Ran across a quote a few years ago that does a pretty good job of describing the manifestation of this kind of jealousy:
“People try to rain on your parade simply because they have no parade of their own.”
Often times, human nature is just plain ugly.
