A strange leadership quality

Strange? It's the only thing that really works. Pastor's who truly listen to their parishioners, detectives who pay attention to what the perp is saying, interrogators/debriefers who bond with the target almost instantly, and the less than handsome guy who always seems to be talking to beautiful women.

If you can fake sincere interest in someone, or actually show real interest, you will rule the world.
