Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says he has gone into isolation for five days after coming into contact with someone who later tested positive for COVID-19.
Trudeau tweeted he learned of the contact on Wednesday night.
He took a rapid test which came back negative but said he will isolate for five days to follow health guidelines.
“I feel fine and will be working from home,” he tweeted.
“Stay safe, everyone — and please get vaccinated.”
That means Trudeau will not be around Monday for the reopening of Parliament after its Christmas break.
Thousands of truckers were also expected to be at the opening to protest Trudeau’s vaccine madates.

What this joker is doing, speaks volumes, even besides his cowardice to show up at Parliament! The Prime Mistake is supposedly double vaxxed. He/she/it/them/xe/etc., or whatever the Prime Mistake's preferred pronoun is, apparently interacted with someone with a case of CCP-Coronavirus. The vaxx works so well, that he has to self isolate, so as not to spread the disease, yet tells everyone to get vaxxed! The irony and hypocrisy is amazing!
I do hope that it was Delta, and that he gets it full bore!
