Its amazing that the Kourt can say mandates are bad for one group but not another in the same decision. This is what happens when justices rule on the basis of politics and emotions instead of the laws and the Constitution.

The customer/client has a lot of say in working conditions.

If you paint homes for a living and your best customer tells you that you must dress like a clown every time you enter his home, you either buy yourself a clown suit or find another customer.

I really hope this idiocy helps push some health care facilities to ditch Medicare and Medicaid patients entirely.

This is what happens when government is involved in healthcare. Note to Republicans: Defund healthcare. It is a function of the private sector. This is just the template for what should be defunded. Even though the Supremes allowed the stay remain in place for OSHA, OSHA was used as a weapon to destroy America. OSHA should be eliminated with all of it regulations so it is never a weapon against freedom again.

I really don't give two shits about workplace safety. That is something to be negotiated between workers and employers. If you don't like it as a worker, find a new job.

I used to live in a town where a private concierge-type medical practice had an office campus. I’m pretty sure they were in the news a few years ago over their refusal to take any Medicaid patients. I’m not sure about Medicare, but this is the sort of thing that might help them make a big decision on that one.

I think that in the short term this will lead to a shortage of workers at federally funded faculties.
And in the long term may provide a boost to existing, and new, facilities which decide to eschew federal funds and find themselves with an abundance of workers.
