Much as I disagree with the health care worker mandate, the Federal government is on much more solid ground there because it only involves health care workers and facilities where the Federal government is the contracting agent (not just a regulatory authority).
It's the same legal rationale that makes the vaccine mandate for Federal contractors a more legally sound requirement than the OSHA mandate.

OSHA Mandate struck down 6-3. Healthcare mandate upheld 5-4.
Should not have been so close on OSHA mandate, imho. Should have been 9-0 against.

Sadly the healthcare hucksters and the government really don’t care about their patients at the administrative and physician level, they are CDC drones.

“Workarounds” by their very nature are incompatible with our system of laws. This White House exposed itself as an enemy of the Constitution and everyone in it is in violation of their oaths. Resignations are now in order.

The court ALLOWS a vaccine mandate for workers at federally funded health care facilities to take effect nationwide.— SCOTUSblog (@SCOTUSblog) January 13, 2022And how long will that last for? My wife works at a nursing home and doesn't plan on taking the jab. Is she supposed to stick an oversized chemical laden q-tip up her nose every week forever? They're still currently testing twice a week anyway but covid will be with us forever. Does the rule expire st some point?

Not really devastating.
example Mayo Clinic has 68000 workers.
700 declined vaxx mandate and left
a little over 1% of their workforce.

How in the world do you come to this decision? So now if your place of employment receives federal monies your freedom of choice is reduced? What about all of congress? They are exempt.

Which would include anybody who even just works far behind the scenes of a nursing home that gets federal money
My step sister is one of those in management who is looking at the end of a 27 year career because she simply cannot get the jab, due to the number and types of antibiotics that have been given her over the years
She got a religious exemption, but that’s even at risk

Between the death of Build Back Brandon, Sinema’s comments on the Senate floor today, and this ruling, the Biden regime is officially a dead duck.
Nothing left but a flurry of unconstitutional executive orders.
