A father has shared how nurses insisted on calling him 'mom' during his pregnancy despite being a man.
Bennett Kaspar-Williams, 37, from Los Angeles, first realised he was trans around ten years ago, in 2011, but didn't begin his transition until three years later.
Then six years later, in 2017 he found Malik, his future husband - who he married in 2019.
The couple decided that they wanted to have children, and weighed the options available to them, with Bennett eventually deciding that he would be comfortable trying to conceive and carrying a child.

I think it started with, “who are we to decide what is right or wrong?” And, that derived from, “there is no God, therefore there is no right or wrong. It’s all a matter of opinion.” This is why there are district attorneys letting out murderers and rapists but putting people in jail for Covid violations. While it appears on the face that your question is simple, the answer to it is not simple. It involves decades of liberal gobbledygook making its way into the mainstream. So, today, we have people suing bakers and wedding photographers to force them into working a job they don’t want to. We have employees getting fired for a media post that isn’t politically correct. We are, in fact, in the middle of “1984.”
Given these special circumstances, the medical staff ought to avoid the term “Mother” and instead use the more correct term “Dumbass”.
