I am puzzled by women who desperately desire to be men.. I saw an image of that actor who used to be Ellen Page the other day and I was struck by a feeling of profound sadness.. The poor thing just looked so pitiful.
In the past, when males had enormous advantages in life compared to females you could at least understand a female wishing she were male to gain those advantages.. But that is very different from the fetish-like compulsion to be male that some females express today.
In the case of males who desire to be female I think that can be attributed to something called Autogynephilia, and it can be extremely difficult or impossible to mitigate.
