Trump claims would-be running mates ‘begging’ for spot on 2024 ticket

While former President Donald Trump has yet to formally announce a 2024 White House bid, he’s already stoking speculation about potential running mates — all of whom, he claims, are “begging” to be on the ticket, according to a new report.

Politico, citing interviews with a dozen Trump advisers and associates, reported that the 45th president will largely choose his campaign sidekick based on two factors: unconditional loyalty, and support for Trump’s claim that the 2020 election was stolen by the Democrats.

“They’ll have to denounce what happened in 2020,” former Trump campaign staffer Michael Caputo told the outlet. “If they don’t, they’re disqualified.”

I expect him to pick some RINO woman like Haley as a sop to the suburban women voters who don’t like his tweets.

Desantis is a tough decision. He would be a perfect running mate but I think he should stay as FL Gov for another term. He’s way too valuable in that position. Hopefully he can solidify the RED status for years and then run for President in 28.

Kim Reynolds, possibly. Blackburn, yes, I think she’d be content in the VP role, however I think she knows she’s not Presidential material. There are lots of other good choices. Who do you think would be good VP material.

Kennedy from La. No POTUS future-too old. Good for a laugh as Trump needs to lighten up.

What’s interesting is the loss in ‘20 gives the rats a chance to show their true colors in a way the voters will finally understand. Suburban housewives reacted against Trump not knowing Biden would be worse. No guarantee they’ll learn but the left needed a good ass whupping those 4 years. So did the Rinos.

“Trump feels he made DeSantis,” the source told the outlet. “Trump sees him as a competitor. And he’s not going to have someone with better [poll] numbers.”

Running mate? Nah more like a real hard competitor. DeSantis is fairly popular within his own right. He could really give Trump a run for his money IMO. Hard to see DeSantis playing second fiddle to Trump. I could be wrong but these days anything is possible. Just my two-cents worth. I could see myself supporting either one but must admit I tend to favor DeSantis a bit more than as Trump made so many costly and stupid mistakes in his term.

Not deferential enough. Not willing to stay in the background. Has his own future to concentrate on. Besides, the Veep slot is not a traditional role to the White House and DeDantis wants to be president. I could see him sit out 2024 and prep for his 2028 run.

Not Blackburn. The only reason I’m still registered to vote is to vote her traitorous butt out. She could have stood by the President during the steal but didn’t. No way he will pick her if he has learned anything.

I vote DeSantis but would also hate to lose him in Florida.

That is where your eyes go?

Start looking at all the things he did get done under extremely difficult situations.

=No wonder we are in trouble.
