White House press secretary Jen Psaki defended the Biden administration’s decision not to require coronavirus vaccines or negative COVID-19 tests for people illegally crossing the border to seek asylum, claiming they are “not intending to stay here for a lengthy period of time.”
In recent days, thousands of migrants from Haiti and other countries have flooded the southern border seeking permanent asylum in the US. Many reached a processing bottleneck in Del Rio, Texas, last week, leaving over 12,000 migrants to camp under a bridge, sparking coronavirus and security threat concerns among local and state leaders.
During Monday’s daily press briefing, Psaki was pressed on why there are so many steps pertaining to COVID-19 when flying into the country, such as providing vaccination proof or a negative COVID-19 test, but seemingly none for those who walk across the border.

Well, when I go to a restaurant in NYC, I am really not intending to stay for any long period of time. But they still want me to be vaccinated and wear a mask.
When I go to school in FL, they think I should wear a mask, but I am only going for a few hours each day.
I am not planning to stay long at a Garth Brooks concert with 85,000 other people outside, but they condemn that as a “superspreader” event.

I saw Psaki and almost laughed when she said that the illegals have no intention of staying.
Then why did they make the long trip? A brief vacay?
He has to let them in without testing, how can he keep the pandemic going without them.
Basically, if you are a US CITIZEN, you know, an American, then stfu and do as your told, kkthx.
