Great. Just what we needed. /sarcasm
I hope we only get rain, and that the blue tarp holds.
To: Robert DeLong
If the current forecast holds, Nicholas track should skirt west of the areas in LA hardest hit by Ida.

LOL—I chuckle every year with the peak hurricane season stories of ruined vacations. There is a reason the cruises and FL Panhandle hotels are heavily discounted this time of year...

It’s still very early in the storm yet.. So I won’t heave a sigh of relief for the current predictions. But I hope you are right. 🙂
To: NautiNurse
Maybe so. The local forecasts say we have a chance to receive up to a half-inch.
At this point, anything is better than nothing.
I’m greedy when it comes to rain. I want more.

there is a reason the cruises and FL Panhandle hotels are heavily discounted this time of year...I had an older lady friend that took a cruise at a special rate off the coast of Florida. Her five day cruise turned into three weeks...Andrew.
