Wisconsin senators approved a bill earlier this week allowing dead bodies to be dissolved in a chemical bath and disposed like sewage.
The bill, Senate Bill 228, authorizes a practice called alkaline hydrolysis, or “water cremation,” which liquifies the human body using a mixture of water, heat, and chemical agents, leaving only bones behind. The liquid is then dumped into the sewage system or boiled off, and bones can be crushed and deposited in an urn.
The Republican-led Senate passed the legislation without debate on Tuesday over the objection of the Catholic bishops of Wisconsin.
Based on what you said in response, it is apparent that you do not believe in the Resurrection of the Body.
That’s a problem.

A “spiritual body” is a contradiction in terms. People are created as physical body/spirit composites, not as purely spiritual beings like angels. When we die, we will receive back our bodies fit for the place where they will spend eternity.
Do you think remains must be intact to be resurrected?
The deep state already uses this process illegally to get rid of dead bodies.
What happens to global warming when millions get cremated every day?
Yeah...I have a NEW question about my Berkey water filter...
The literal Resurrection of the Body may or may not be a thing. I don’t worry about it because I have complete faith that the God who created time and matter from nothing can manage Resurrection without the help of humans preserving our remains.
Seems like just another prideful human doctrine.
I see a whole NEW filtration system to sell to every homeowner....

filtered or not, its just disgusting. Its bad enough when we have a heavy rainfall and the Milwaukee sewer system’s giant holding tank threatens to fill up.
The Democrat manager, rather then allow the tank to fill, just dumps millions of gallons of raw sewage into the lake - the sewer system collects both run off and waste water in the same system. Now he’ll be dumping unprocessed dead humans.
It will take more then a simple filter to fix that problem.
Burial at sea means becoming hagfish (”the most disgusting sea creature”) food.
Milorganite - processed human crap they sell by the ton in pretty green and white 50 lb bags.
“we are running out of areas to reserve for cemeteries.”
Hogwash. We could bury the entire population of the US in 3’x8’ plots in the smallest state, Rhode Island, and still have 80% of the land in Rhode Island left over. You could bury the entire 7 billion population of the world in 4th smallest state, New Jersey, and still have room for another 3 billion. Bury people upright or stacked and it would take even less space. Space for burials is not an issue except in the world’s most heavily populated areas.
“Space for burials is not an issue except in the world’s most heavily populated areas.”
Which is where all the dumbasses that think we are running out of room live.
Because there is no way God can resurrect these bodies.
That’s what *they* think
Hum. Pozole. Ad if the Milwaukee river and Lake Mendota were not polluted enough!
(Article provides a “Don’t do this” blueprint for aspiring Pozoleros!)
They’ll rebrand some commercial wood chippers before long.
“Do you think remains must be intact to be resurrected?”
__________
We are to treat human remains with reverence.
Beyond that, the matter is certainly in God’s hands.
Each of us is an immortal soul that is clothed with, or veiled by, a body.
We know that the Blessed Virgin Mary, full of grace, unsullied by sin, and destined upon her voluntary consent to become the Holy Mother of God, was preserved from the consequences of sin. For Mother Mary, the normal postponement of bodily happiness in heaven until the last day did not occur. Rather, at the completion of her earthly life, she was assumed, both body and soul, into heaven. Her body now in its glorified form, she was immediately crowned as Heaven’s Queen.
With the exception of those who remain alive on the last day, bodily death is assured. All those who have died, however, will be reunited with their earthly bodies prior to, and at least in part for the purposes of, the General Judgment.
All will be revealed. I said, remember that!
Matthew 13:24-30
Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition
24 Another parable he proposed to them, saying: The kingdom of heaven is likened to a man that sowed good seeds in his field.
25 But while men were asleep, his enemy came and oversowed cockle among the wheat and went his way.
26 And when the blade was sprung up, and had brought forth fruit, then appeared also the cockle.
27 And the servants of the goodman of the house coming said to him: Sir, didst thou not sow good seed in thy field? whence then hath it cockle?
28 And he said to them: An enemy hath done this. And the servants said to him: Wilt thou that we go and gather it up?
29 And he said: No, lest perhaps gathering up the cockle, you root up the wheat also together with it.
30 Suffer both to grow until the harvest, and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers: Gather up first the cockle, and bind it into bundles to burn, but the wheat gather ye into my barn.
Correct. The ashes must remain together.
