Afghan news outlets, citing CNN, reported Tuesday that the administration of President Joe Biden would soon deploy another 650 troops to Afghanistan, where Biden expanded the U.S. presence through at least September in an order this month.
Afghanistan’s Khaama Press and Pajhwok Afghan News reported the alleged troop number increase as meant to protect American forces as they withdraw. CNN claimed the news originated with “several defense officials,” none of whom went on the record.

“the alleged troop number increase as meant to protect American forces as they withdraw.”
So then he’ll have to send more troops to protect these troops when they withdraw? 🤔

The Russians left Afghanistan in 24 hours without notice. They destroyed equipment that could not be removed, and they deployed rear guards to kill anyone who interfered with the withdrawal. They suffered no casualties from enemy forces during the action.
We should do the same thing.

Seriously. Supposed to have pulled them out in a few days. Then decide to extend for months then decide to send more.
To: Rusty0604
They may be SpecOps and supporting logistics. They have the resources to just disappear after protecting the leaving troops, but who knows what this deployment is about? I don’t trust anything that Biteme authorizes or Obambi’s perfumed generals.

Let’s see if I have this right.
Trump ended the war in Afghanistan.
Biden is starting it up again.

I’ve predicted this here, and will repeat it.
I’M WAGERING $50 THAT BIDEN WILL NOT BE PULLING OUT BY 9/11/21 IN FACT HE WILL INCREASE OUR PRESENT THERE.
To: glimmerman70
Trump had them out, but Biden wanted to get the credit. So, he ignored Trump’s pull out, then notified the media, that HE, BIDEN was pulling the troops out by 9/11 and they reported that BIDEN WAS FINALLY GETTING US OUT OF THERE.
Won’t happen, in fact, with us adding troops, this will only escalate things.
I fear and pray for our men and women there. They should be home.
To: SunkenCiv
I read one of the articles you linked to. Here’s an argument given for staying in Afghanistan:
“Because it’s better than accepting the risk of a quarter million miles of territory falling into the hands of an Islamist-government”.
Sounds like a cover for secret reasons for staying there.
To: cymbeline
The Chinese will take care of that problem, just as they're probably supporting the Taliban against us right now. Once we're out, basically, who cares? It'll be China's problem. Y'think they're tough on the Uighur muzzies?

I wrote several weeks ago when Xiden broke the deal Trump made for a May 1st withdrawal that Biden was being played. I speculated that "advisors" told Xiden that symbolic move for a 9/11 withdrawal would give enough time that Biden could claim credit for getting out of Afghanistan. Heaven forbid that Trump ever got any credit. But I also speculated that Xiden was just getting setup and that more troops would be sent to Afghanistan.
Well, here we are, several weeks later on the cusp of May 1st, the original withdrawal date, and more troops are being sent. And to what end? Life and limb of our soldiers and more of our nation's treasure.
F ALL OF THESE DEEP STATE FM'ers.
We could have been in and out of Afghanistan in 4 months. That would have been enough time to decimate what little infrastructure these camel humping, moon rock worshiping, pedophiles ever had. We could have salted their fields so poppies never grew again. All of it could be done with dumb bombs and aging defoliants, clearing an inventory munitions about to go bad. In other words, it could have been done on the cheap.
Watch now, Xiden will send troops to Iraq, Syria, Africa and all sorts of other places.

Your exactly right. And Trump had a deal with the enemy. A deal for peace. We all know when we leave there then they will go back to fighting each other like they have done for centuries. Well, biden broke the deal and the enemy said the attacks will start again. Look at the Boulder shooting. Now he is adding more troops, if any of our men and women fighting over there die between now and 9/11 (which is a terrible time) which is HIS pull out date then it’s on his hands. And what’s sad is he don’t care. He has to undo everything Trump did. Because he is a idiot. And selfish.

Ummm, Afghanistan doesn’t border the US so we can’t just pack up and road march out. It’ll be a slow, drawn out air mobility operation.
