You couldn’t pay me enough to live in any city. Suburbs for me.

They recognize their way of life is incompatible with that exhibited in large cities. This results in suburban dwellers venturing into cities less often. Once there, they feel unsafe and unwelcome.

And we want them to feel unsafe and unwelcome when they come to our turf. How do we do that?

I live way out in the country, love it, and recommend it to everyone, but....

When cities die they take their civilizations with them.

History is _very_ clear on that point.

More crime is not the only difference Americans notice in large cities. There are also different laws regarding decency, civility, and cleanliness. Unfortunately, manners and traditional customs are rarely, if ever, practiced.

Folks, now is the time to get close to our heritage.

California has seceded in fact. By declaring sanctuary and abrogating federal law, California has left the Union

A nation divided cannot stand.................it will be all one or all the other.

There is going to be a fight, and we are in control as to when and how.

I live in a rural county 30 miles from Tallahassee. I try to go there as little as possible. A friend lives in what was a great little neighborhood off the TCC campus. He walked out to find that a black homeless man had stabbed a black store owner who shared their apartment parking lot. The store owner did not want to give the homeless guy any money. Even if he had given him money it would not have been enough or it would encourage him to return every day. The city had just moved the homeless shelter from down town to just off the TCC campus.

I have been approached by aggressive homeless even in Costco’s parking lot. Then there are the taxes. Wow. And, the city owns the electric company. Tallahassee has the highest rates in the state. One woman told me her electric bill used to equal her rent. She had to stop using the airconditioner.

The city governmental departments are predators, waiting to fine you for everything from leaving your garbage can out to having a fire in your back yard. All these are “self funded” departments. You have to write one heck of a lot of fines to cover wages and benefits. Their only existence is to pay for the wages and benefits of their office.

Some tips:

--Say no to any new infrastructure projects in your small town. Mobilize the locals--no--forever.

--Same for local tax increases--no--forever. If the town can't afford to provide the same level services--oh well.

--Keep tough zoning restrictions--if anything tighten them for new construction.

--No new schools. They are dying institutions anyway. Close the old ones first chance you get. Home schooling is what you want--the leftist teachers can go f&^% themselves.

“You couldn’t pay me enough to live in any city. Suburbs for me.”
You got that right. I went from the Bronx NY to Paramus NJ (late 50’s) to Raleigh NC then retired here at the OBX NC. Nothing like a tranquil environment instead of the crowds every where you go.

Another article today suggested we stop talking about Trump-he’s toxic to the left. Instead the subject should be ideas. My problem is that the global warming alarmists are too big and spread out all over the world. Then there’s BLM’s Nobel Prize nomination. Go figure.

Me either. Call me whatever you want, but all the drug addicts and the defecation on the sidewalks isn’t safe for my children.

Sounds like it’s even more hellish than when I lived there. I couldn’t get out of Tally fast enough.

“urban areas, cities, inter-cities” these are all “dog whistle” terms when used, simply means that you are a racist. That’s why the problem can never be discussed and, thus, no solution can be achieved. Btw, this is the number one reason Trump had to go and why COVID had to be more than just a flu. A booming economy, the lowest levels of unemployment for Blacks, Hispanics, Women, etc. CANNOT BE PERMITTED.

Me too, we live on big acreage with no neighbors within site or sound, in Oregon. Portland is 3 hours away from us, so we are somewhat protected, but not by the freaking gun and environmental laws they want to pass.

We are in a red county with the DA and Sheriff very conservative, but still not shielded from the leftys utopian plans. Democrats have the legislature, the Governor, the SOS and the AG, living in rural areas will not protect us from whats coming this year from Oregon's state lawmakers.

Rudy gave copies of hard drive to W. Times, Delaware St. police and FBI. Rudy will not be able to represent DJT in impeachment trial.

They will want the urban centers to form their own “United Cities of America” with their own laws and lifestyles.

History as done the City States approach before. It is interesting history. And this is a strategy to break apart the centralized power. Many mayors/governors are jealous of the centralized federal power and want their own power.

Divide and conquer. It works. But you may end up with a French revolution instead of an American style revolution.

If I shake you awake in the middle of the night and ask you, “What are you fighting FOR?” After you reach for your gun, what do you tell me?

Our Founding Fathers could answer that question under those circumstances. Can you?
