You couldn’t pay me enough to live in any city. Suburbs for me.

They recognize their way of life is incompatible with that exhibited in large cities. This results in suburban dwellers venturing into cities less often. Once there, they feel unsafe and unwelcome.

And we want them to feel unsafe and unwelcome when they come to our turf. How do we do that?

I live way out in the country, love it, and recommend it to everyone, but....

When cities die they take their civilizations with them.

History is _very_ clear on that point.

California has seceded in fact. By declaring sanctuary and abrogating federal law, California has left the Union

A nation divided cannot stand.................it will be all one or all the other.

There is going to be a fight, and we are in control as to when and how.

I live in a rural county 30 miles from Tallahassee. I try to go there as little as possible. A friend lives in what was a great little neighborhood off the TCC campus. He walked out to find that a black homeless man had stabbed a black store owner who shared their apartment parking lot. The store owner did not want to give the homeless guy any money. Even if he had given him money it would not have been enough or it would encourage him to return every day. The city had just moved the homeless shelter from down town to just off the TCC campus.

I have been approached by aggressive homeless even in Costco’s parking lot. Then there are the taxes. Wow. And, the city owns the electric company. Tallahassee has the highest rates in the state. One woman told me her electric bill used to equal her rent. She had to stop using the airconditioner.

The city governmental departments are predators, waiting to fine you for everything from leaving your garbage can out to having a fire in your back yard. All these are “self funded” departments. You have to write one heck of a lot of fines to cover wages and benefits. Their only existence is to pay for the wages and benefits of their office.

“urban areas, cities, inter-cities” these are all “dog whistle” terms when used, simply means that you are a racist. That’s why the problem can never be discussed and, thus, no solution can be achieved. Btw, this is the number one reason Trump had to go and why COVID had to be more than just a flu. A booming economy, the lowest levels of unemployment for Blacks, Hispanics, Women, etc. CANNOT BE PERMITTED.

They will want the urban centers to form their own “United Cities of America” with their own laws and lifestyles.

History as done the City States approach before. It is interesting history. And this is a strategy to break apart the centralized power. Many mayors/governors are jealous of the centralized federal power and want their own power.

Divide and conquer. It works. But you may end up with a French revolution instead of an American style revolution.

If I shake you awake in the middle of the night and ask you, “What are you fighting FOR?” After you reach for your gun, what do you tell me?

Our Founding Fathers could answer that question under those circumstances. Can you?

First thing to do is in those states where the voting system is no longer valid the Republican party needs to be dissolved, and a new freedom party put in place.

Just as our founding fathers divided the government in an attempt to keep any one branch from obtaining too much power. So must our political party system become. A two party system lacks enough diversity to accomplish this and accommodates collusion.

I wonder if the author is familiar with what is going on in Texas right now. Or has considered that some counties, e.g. Weld County, CO, are considering switching their allegiance to neighboring (red) states, to abandon their deep blue current masters.

I believe there will be a different type of secession in the future or at least I hope there will be.

se•ces•sion sĭ-sĕsh′ən►
n. The act of seceding.
n. The withdrawal of 11 Southern states from the Union in 1860–1861, precipitating the US Civil War.
n. The act of seceding or withdrawing; withdrawal; retirement; seclusion; detachment; separation.

More at Wordnik from The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, 5th Edition.

Let's go with the third definition, given it is of the bloodless variety. Keep your money to yourself. Do not give that money to people whom you disagree. Boycott. Starve the left of money. Starve the left of your skills. Boycott. Strike. Yes, that means not working for some globalist corporation. Let them collapse from their own lack of ability. If you are a business owner, hire like minded people and fire those who you disagree. Withhold the fruits of your labor and business from leftists. Put leftists into the poor house. Starve them of resources. Deny them your products and services. Decide to do business only with those that share your values. Isn't it better than a blood bath? It's a worthy step for our freedoms and rights before having to get really ugly.

Realize you have control. It may cost you, but freedom is not free. At least you can live with yourself.

Not mentioned in this article is the politicization of law enforcement. As we’ve seen over and over again from DA’s to judges to even juries in certain places like Washington DC, if they support your politics you can literally get away with murder....and that’s if you’re even charged. If they don’t like your politics however, you will be arrested and charged with a crime for simply defending yourself against violent mobs that attack you - violent mobs which will be given carte blanche to attack you.

The other thing not mentioned is the sanctuary movement. Many on the right are now following the example set by the left when declaring their state or their county to be sanctuaries in which federal laws they don’t like will not be enforced. I’m thinking specifically of the 2nd amendment sanctuary jurisdictions. This needs to continue and to grow larger and encompass more things than just unconstitutional federal gun grabs.

“Of course, rural Americans are already living in areas removed from large cities, but geography is only one of the many differences. An even more striking distinction involves political ideology and attitudes on an array of issues like criminal justice.”

In Texas, at least, the key is to live in RED COUNTIES. Just being outside of the cities isn’t enough, since ‘justice’ is administered by county governments. In Texas, the counties that contain Houston and Dallas are now BLUE, when they had been slightly red for almost 20 years. Now everyone living in those counties have to deal with the fact that certain classes of criminals are no longer being prosecuted (to avoid being called a racist, I won’t get specific).

The only real choice is to stay out or get out...while you can, and at least get into a red county. But, in the end, it won’t matter too much, as the Left is not about to leave the red counties alone. Hence my plans to exit the country - it was a fun run, but the people who know better didn’t bother to instill American values in our kids, and so this country will soon not even be livable.

Anyone thinking urban areas will just accept rural and suburban America opting out of supporting democrat run hell holes called cities is delusional. It will require a civil war.

Large cities need to be forcibly expelled from their states and become new city-states. There is no other solution.

We are in the far north suburbs of Atlanta and that’s not far enough. We are soon heading about 75 miles further north into the mountains.

Anyone driving on I-205 east of Portland would wonder who in their right mind would live in that city. Homeless encampments everywhere. Totally out of control and apparently the courts say the authorities aren’t allowed to forbid it.
