I live way out in the country, love it, and recommend it to everyone, but....
When cities die they take their civilizations with them.
History is _very_ clear on that point.
We are in a red county with the DA and Sheriff very conservative, but still not shielded from the leftys utopian plans. Democrats have the legislature, the Governor, the SOS and the AG, living in rural areas will not protect us from whats coming this year from Oregon's state lawmakers.
Colonization
History is _very_ clear on that point.
Like when the COVID Lockdowns closed all of the restaurants in the cities.
The rat population that depended on the food waste from the restaurants began to forage far and wide to survive.
As the big city’s population begin to dwindle the criminal population that depended on the wider population of that city as prey those criminals will have to venture out into the suburbs to find worthwhile prey.
Predators go where the prey is.
But the prey in the suburbs is not easy prey. At least not now. Biden will try to soften us up for them.
Hmmm... when cities die, countries die.
America is a big country though. And the cities can fester a long, long time.
Most country dwellers could not live without electricity or even public water for many of them. We have come a long way from 640 acres and a mule. Give that to a family today and they would eat the mule.
