Former President George W. Bush plans to lend his support to Rep. Liz Cheney (WY-R) during a Saturday call with her father Dick Cheney, his former vice president.
Freddy Ford, Bush's chief of staff, said that the former president will thank the top House Republican for her service - just weeks after her vote to impeach then-President Donald Trump.
But he wouldn't be drawn on whether he would back her ahead of a tough 2022 Primary.

George W. Bush has gone beyond disappointing us, to actively warring against us.
Does clown Bush think he has any credibility left with the right that this endorsement will have any impact? The left will never prop up a Cheney. Lizzy is in no man’s land. Stick a fork in her, she’s one month into her new term and as lame as a duck as they come.
Oh, and we who say screw the GOP are the fools? Guaranteed most people who are outraged by this will line up like perfect little stooges in ‘22 and vote the Quisling ticket. There’s no difference in this POS bush and 95% of the GOP hacks that “conservative” fools will continue to vote for.

I supported Bush for a long time. He made huge mistakes. I can’t support this. Liz Cheney actions were unacceptable, especially now that evidence proves it was pre planned snd had nothing to do with Trump.
Bush hates Trump because he was an outsider, someone who honestly cared about America first, and exposed the elite for what they were, predators.
