California authorities are investigating a “second suspect” linked to one of the most infamous serial killers in US history, “Night Stalker’’ Richard Ramirez, according to officials and new probe details revealed to The Post.
Ramirez — the devil worshipper whose victims included a former Brooklyn mom — was tied to the 1984 rape and murder of a 9-year-old girl before his death in prison in 2013, and cops have now ID’d a second male who they believe also was at the scene at the time, sources said.
“This case is classified as ‘open’ due to the second-suspect issue,” said San Francisco Police Department Homicide Inspector John Miller.

Not surprising. the “lone devil worshiper” story strained credulity. It’s a team sport.
Ramirez...devil worshipper...tied to the 1984 rape and murder of a 9-year-old girl...
Sounds like one of the Clinton/Podesta Spirit Cooking clan.
My Mom was a potential juror in his murder trial. During voir dire she was asked if she was familiar with the case (and in L.A. you’d have to have been in a coma not to know about THAT case). She said she was.
She was then asked if she had drawn any conclusions from what she’d heard about the case. She said she had.
She was finally asked what conclusions she had drawn. She said, “He’s guilty.”
She was excused.
The serial killer I had the misfortune to cross paths with, Wayne Nance, was a satanist.
Lived in Glendale at the time.
One morning my kids stated they heard someone at their
bedroom window during the night. It was a very hot time
of the year, and we needed to keep the window open a
little.
Didn’t think much of it at the moment the kids mentioned this.
Kids get spooked sometimes and their reports may not be
totally accurate. Checked the window and saw no signs of
attempted entry.
The kids were the type you couldn’t wake up with a
semi truck horn in their room.
That day it was in the news, the Night Stalker had struck
again the night before, about a block from our apartment.
Too close for comfort.
An elderly couple were brutally murdered. Their home had
blood everywhere inside from descriptions.
Their kids couldn’t unload the thing for a few years,
perhaps five.
Very sad,... just a nice old couple enjoying their later
years. Didn’t mind hearing this guy’s life had ended.
His victims ranged from 21 to 88. So much serial killers having a “type” —like the media tells us over and over.
The DNA evidence connects this guy to Ramirez but not necessarily to the victim. They’ll need more evidence to convict.
I think if he was informed that there were no Hispanics in the case, he would have exclaimed Irish, Chinese, Germans...am I getting warmer?
“am I getting warmer?”
No. My Mom served on quite a few juries during her long life. Generally, she loved it. But she was honest, and admitted she had already drawn a conclusion in the Ramirez case.
One serial killer does not equate to all being like him.
I wasn’t questioning the integrity of your mom. Rather, I was just giving a humorous story about jury duty. Sorry, if you misinterpreted.
Where did I say that?
True enough...
I crossed paths with the scorecard killer randy kraft -likely killed 67 or more- sentenced to death in 1989 upheld by california supreme court in 2000 he’s still alive on death row...very intelligent man but very twisted.
Cue Bon Scott
It makes a huge difference if the handkerchief belonged to the Leung family or to Ramirez.
For those who don’t know about Nance

You lived in Glendale back in 1980s...Wasn't Glendale a safe city to live back then?
Back then, a Republican represented Glendale in US House...Now, Adam Schiff represents Glendale...
