Lived in Glendale at the time.

One morning my kids stated they heard someone at their
bedroom window during the night. It was a very hot time
of the year, and we needed to keep the window open a
little.

Didn’t think much of it at the moment the kids mentioned this.
Kids get spooked sometimes and their reports may not be
totally accurate. Checked the window and saw no signs of
attempted entry.

The kids were the type you couldn’t wake up with a
semi truck horn in their room.

That day it was in the news, the Night Stalker had struck
again the night before, about a block from our apartment.

Too close for comfort.

An elderly couple were brutally murdered. Their home had
blood everywhere inside from descriptions.

Their kids couldn’t unload the thing for a few years,
perhaps five.

Very sad,... just a nice old couple enjoying their later
years. Didn’t mind hearing this guy’s life had ended.

His victims ranged from 21 to 88. So much serial killers having a “type” —like the media tells us over and over.

You lived in Glendale back in 1980s...Wasn't Glendale a safe city to live back then?

Back then, a Republican represented Glendale in US House...Now, Adam Schiff represents Glendale...

Just watched today the new Netflix series on the Night Stalker.....I was horrified...the fear must have been awful.
