AMC called the cops, the cops didn't raid the place looking for no-maskers.
Cops responded to enforce local ordinances imposed by politicians, not the cops.
Cops probably felt like crap having to do this. They are people with families too.
Family knew the kid couldn't wear a mask, family knew the rules and the potential for hassles.
Care to reassess blame?
That said, Conservatives support cops, but beware, they are not your friends.
If so ordered, most will obey unconstitutional orders and have no regard for your rights.
Support the police regardless of their actions...
Where are the good ones? Are they silent like moderate Muslims?

Everyone, from our government reps to local AMC theater people, is truly nuts.
AMC Theater is a private business...
They require masks because there is NO LIABILITY PROTECTION for businesses.
AMC corporate in conjunction with their insurance carriers (like many businesses) have instituted a no exception mask policy.
Understandably, local management has no say.
Just as understandable, the parents insisted on staying with the children to see the movie.
Had they immediately left voluntarily the police would not have been called.
Just as understandable, the police are required to have them leave the private property if the property owner requests.
All involved here are victims in the ongoing COVID enforcement.
The democrats in Congress are to blame for blocking COVID liability protection for businesses.

I hear this shit all the time on this forum...ask an owner why you can’t enter his place without a mask, and they point to the state mandated mask sign and say ‘the governor says so...’

Question, and I am not trying to be sarcastic by asking, just using logic.
When did the owners of the theatres, in fact all owners of business facilities throughout the USA mandate masks and ban entry to their facilities that may, could, or have the common cold or influenza??
That is the legal argument that this family can present, added to the ADA filing that shall if the black robed are still somewhat honest about ADA and truth.

I would, if there were any close by showing something I’d like to see.
COVID has not been presented by the federal and state governments as anything but a pandemic with both exercising emergency powers.
Therefore, it legally doesn’t fall in the normal range of disease transmission...
Colds and cases of flu fall under normal health laws within each state for those businesses......Think local Health Department rules for food and beverage...
Businesses can ban entry for just about anything as long as it doesn’t violate the constitution or federal law.
Pandemic rules trump federal law in certain circumstances....Even apparently constitutional law since restrictions has been placed on freedom of worship...
In Jacksonville, there’s a decent chance Dad is a Marine.
Anyway, here’s hoping they sue AMC under the ADA.

Neither has been tested against the judicial legality through to the USSC

Unfortunately, based on current precedent for accepting cases, I doubt they will take it.... Not with Chief Justice Robert’s presiding...
