When did the owners of the theatres, in fact all owners of business facilities throughout the USA mandate masks and ban entry to their facilities that may, could, or have the common cold or influenza??
That is the legal argument that this family can present, added to the ADA filing that shall if the black robed are still somewhat honest about ADA and truth.

COVID has not been presented by the federal and state governments as anything but a pandemic with both exercising emergency powers.
Therefore, it legally doesn’t fall in the normal range of disease transmission...
Colds and cases of flu fall under normal health laws within each state for those businesses......Think local Health Department rules for food and beverage...
Businesses can ban entry for just about anything as long as it doesn’t violate the constitution or federal law.
Pandemic rules trump federal law in certain circumstances....Even apparently constitutional law since restrictions has been placed on freedom of worship...
