New Yorkers are purportedly making plans to escape the city ahead of potential election day violence and protests, according to the New York Post.
Paulo Wei, 25, is planning on avoiding unrest by leaving his luxury building on the Upper West Side for his family’s 60-acre farm two hours north of the city, the Post reported Saturday.
“I felt trapped in the apartment — the protests were overwhelming,” Wei said, the Post reported. “It could happen again and I don’t want to be caught up in that. No matter who wins, someone is going to get upset.”

You definitely do not want to be anywhere near NYC, Chicago, Portland or Seattle when Trump wins. I just do not want the cities rebuilt when they start destroying them. Let them sleep in their own mess

I don’t think much is going to happen if Trump wins...but if Biden or whatever Dem is left out of jail by then wins, I think we’re going to have the little savages wreaking triumphal havoc everywhere.
Unfortunately, I don’t think there’s much that can be done about it, since the mayors and many of the governors are on the side of Antifa and would be perfectly happy to let them do their victory dance on the skulls of the rest of us.
I live @ 30 miles SW of Chicago in a townhome community with a lot of retired LEO's at the municipal, county and state level. To say we're well prepared for any nonsense out here would be an understatement.
The thing is though, the hoodrats (that's what I call anyone who lives in these big urban cities) have been fleeing the cities and buying up homes for top dollar all over the surrounding suburbs. They're driving home prices sky high and bringing their hoodrat ways with them. They act up out here and they've really no idea the response they're going to get -- and it won't be good. People here WILL defend their property, period.
So sick of the media’s drama queen-ism, panic-mongering and unmitigated hyperbole. It’s gotten to the point of “Who cares what happens to NYC?”
Such a far cry from the unity felt immediately after 9/11.
And then they’ll settle into Oswego, Owego, Horseheads and elsewhere and vote for leftists there.
The people will have to arrest and prosecute the traitorous mayors and others
Nothing needs to be done unless you live in one of the Africanized American cities.
If you are unfortunate enough to live in one of the Africanized cities, you have two choices........ endure or leave. Regardless, your standard of living is going to fall
If you don’t live in one of the Africanized cities, all you can do is just watch.
As Africanized cities fail, business elsewhere will improve
