Reading the election tea leaves...
Very helpful
Pharma $$$ coming back into PR manufacturing?
So....what id PR becomes a state, and gets two senators. This Governor, and two of the last four, are Republicans. Why do we assume that PR’s two senators will be dems?
The irony will be that black and Hispanic voters save the country from Upper Middle class whites. All that GOP-e garbage that Hispanics won’t vote for us unless we open the borders wide.
Betchya some libs are thinking twice about the idea of Puerto Rico statehood? Be careful what ya wish for.
Don’t tell the Democrats.
Wow....That’s a biggie...Hillary claimed 72% of the Puerto Rican vote in Florida in 2016.
There goes their chances of becoming the 51st state. hahahahaha
Doesn’t puerto rico get 0 electoral votes for the president race?
Oh I get it, even though Puerto Rican’s don’t vote for President in Puerto Rico, there are a bunch in Florida (and NY)
Huge and even bigger because it was on Telemundo which is CNN in Spanish. This helps lots in Florida but also in other places
Think down ballot.
Now Dems will say “Make Puerto Rico a state..eh, maybe having second thoughts”
If Trump brings pharmaceuticals back to PR there will be jobs and prosperity for the entire island.
Ping.
I must confess I’m surprised to learn that Puerto Rico has a Republican governor.
Well, there goes Puerto Rico becoming a state.
So, the Dems just lost the extra Senators from Puerto Rico. The republican Governor just said, in effect - we would rather produce Pharmaceuticals again, which the Dems took away from us by removing our tax deal, to send it all to their buddies in the CCP, than become a poverty stricken socialist island. Who wouldve thunk it?
WOW.
Not sure how much that will have an effect, but wow.
I had step family live in PR. They were VERY careful to hide their political leanings.
Alright! PR had a good GOP governor about 15 years ago - the first one in ages - who did great things for PR before he was defeated by the SEIU. I was in PR when that election was happening, and when I was talking to the hotel people, they all wanted the GOP governor to win. But they said that the leftist municipal union had all the power.
I don’t know anything about the current governor, Wanda Vazquez, but I’m gonna find out more...and in any case, I hope she has a good bodyguard, because the SEIU doesn’t take rejection lightly.
