White House reporters are used to getting attacked as "fake news" these days, but on Monday several were reportedly "attacked" in a whole new way: by an angry raccoon.
In an incident that sparked viral jokes on Twitter, CBS's Paula Reid said a raccoon on the White House lawn had "attacked multiple news crews."
"Strong Pawnee vibes at White House this morning as a raccoon attacked multiple news crews on North Lawn. allegedly grabbed pant leg of a photographer & then a corespondent [sic] before being fended off," she tweeted, referring to the fictional town of Pawnee, Ind. from the sitcom "Parks and Recreation," where raccoons are a frequent nuisance.

The raccoons are being treated with the PCECV vaccine and antibiotics as a precaution.
They talked about catching the reporters and cutting their heads off to check but PETA objected.
A mostly peaceful raccoon attack.
The racoons heard that Trump wants a statue of Davy Crockett in his statuary garden, and they are peacefully protesting.
I may just have to change my opinion about raccoons!

This is a rural area, but when raccoons find out that tourists eat by the river and lake out here and leave scraps, they learn to be out in the daytime to get to the leftovers before the deer or other scavengers do-you can’t feed your pets outside any time of the day or night without them making a try for some food, once they learn when it gets put out-they are smart critters...
It’s obvious Trump trained them to do this. It’s a favorite strategy of Putin too.
