Here is the Twitter feed last updated 11 minutes ago from Senator Lindsey Graham:
Simple solution; failure to provide voice support of the President will result in long neglected public shunning. Failure to actually vote the party line and at the least, they’ll find themselves removed from every Christmas card list in town. Bottom line; F’m and the horse they rode to Washington.
Very good analysis
IMHO, we need a constitutional amendment going back to the original six.
Having only six Justices requires a 2/3 majority for the Court to do anything. If they cannot reach that level of consensus on an issue then it should go back to the courts of appeal until they can.
Agreed. I’m not a brinkmanship kind of person, but in this case, there is no in between. Do the right thing, which is nominate and confirm or this will haunt you for your entire career until you can be hounded out of office.
The electoral opinions and results in this state can be all over the place. What gives me hope is while democrats and greens outnumber republicans by a wide margin, it’s still possible to elect a conservative like Paul LePage Governor, and I think without the access Hollywood scandal Trump carries Maine in 2016.
Good thing Graham is up for reelection this time around.
Or else he might have weaseled.
Trump will get his 50.
And this will be a Great thing for America.
Boy did that old, evil, slithering creature of hell die just in time.
I LOVE Scalia..he was a paesano and I was proud.
But he and rbg being great friends...that’s so hard to absorb.
I don’t mean to be a zealot but I could never be very close friends with an abortion advocate who had REAL power to effect an end to it or at least lessen it.
Oh well
Wow, when I just looked, it was still there. Don’t know if it’s still hacked or if the interwebs is playing along.
This needs to be muscled through as quickly as possible, before the opposition gets a chance to figure out any way to cause more trouble than they already have.

Hearings arent necessary.
Salmon P. Chase was nominated by A. Lincoln for CJ SCotUS December 6, 1864 and confirmed by the Senate December 6, 1864.
Confirmation vote by end of September!
“Hearings arent necessary. Salmon P. Chase was nominated by A. Lincoln for CJ SCotUS December 6, 1864 and confirmed by the Senate December 6, 1864.”
I hope people have spammed PDJT’s Twitter with this information. Hearings only exist for the RATs to attack and showboat, anyhow.
Note to PDJT, McConnell, and Miss Lindsey: Just. Do. It!
55 Men and the Constitution by Rodell tells us that they had a problem with the USSC in that there was no check. Perhaps the odd number has been an attempt to instill a check.
And tell Roberts that the Court is indeed a Political entity. And while the life term was supposed to keep influences away...it hasn't worked.
I agree with you 110% and have been supporting him all along and telling FR folks to find a Dem to nail.
The body's not even cold yet, and attaching Trump's name to this comes across as callous & insensitive. If it starts making the rounds on social media, that'll be confirmation that it was planted/hacked by a radical leftist group to make President Trump look bad, particularly to independents so close to an election.
That goes along with a prediction I made a couple of years ago and stand by today:
"After the 2020 elections, either the national Republican or Democratic party will be damaged beyond repair."
"Beyond repair" means votes cast in the national 2022 mid-terms (Congress) and 2024 elections (Presidential and Congress) will be smaller than they were in 2020 and 2018, respectively"
Who cares? She supported the murder of unborn children, and was so consumed with power she didn’t step aside under the Muslim usurper, just so she could inflict her satanic hate on the world a little longer.
OK...but that really sucks that decisions are determined today with even a single thought of these #me too HollyWood hags..
“Why does the appointment have to be a woman? Id prefer otherwise.”
And signers of the Declaration of Independence and writers of the Constitution would have preferred to end slavery, but like us, they have to live in the real world of politics, not utopia. At least Republicans have women who can think.
It’s imperative that the nomination (coming this week) be moved through the Senate as quickly as possible, to confirmation. Much as I hate to say this, we may end up losing the Senate. If that happens, the door will be slammed shut for at least two years and we’ll be stuck with a possible 4-4 Court. I’m assuming of course that the president wins reelection.
Yeah, I totally agree :/
