As wildfires ravage the American West Coast, with more than four million acres burned and at least 33 people dead, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee and Sen. Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., slammed President Donald Trump for his comments redirecting blame for the wildfires away from climate change.
"We know that climate change is making fires start easier, spread faster and intensify. And it is maddening right now that when we have this cosmic challenge to our communities, with the entire West Coast of the United States on fire, to have a president to deny that ... these are climate fires," Inslee told ABC News Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos on Sunday.

Their respective states are burning because of underbrush left because environmentalists won’t allow cleanup. INSLEE AND MERKLEY HAVE BLOOD ON THEIR HANDS...and of course they are trying to deny it.

I assumed that he would not make it through the Primary but the good mostly California transplants living in Seattle apperantly almost all voted for him. Although in Washington the ones who collect and tally completely mail-in ballots are Democrats and they can essentially get whatever result that they want.

We need forest management, we don’t need the weatherman telling us that this is 100% caused by Climate Change.

You mean jay ‘wildfire’ inslee? Someone should posit these to him and let him know that they’ll wait for the answers:
1. Define the “correct” temperature range for the planet.
2. Define the “correct” humidity range for the planet.
3. Define the “correct” mean sea level for the planet.
4. Define the “correct” amount of precipitation for the planet.
5. Define the “correct” makeup of the atmosphere.
6. Define the “correct” amount of sea ice at the N/S poles.
7. Define/explain past glaciation and subsequent warming without any input from humans.
These are global warming fires, what a crock of shit. The fires are so severe because assholes like these two moron governors have neglected to manage the forest. Now there is much fuel to feed these fires. Global warming has nothing to do with it. It’s a distraction for idiots.
If they know that global warming is elevating the risk of catastrophic fire then they should be developing new strategies to manage the forest. It seems that the status quo is not working...

Climate Change is NOT something that is flammable. Dry forest underbrush, trees dead from pine bark beetles and trees that are under watered and too close together ARE flammable. Crazies starting fires are a tangible entity responsible for the fires. THIN the trees with logging and rebuild the logging roads/fire breaks. RAKE the forest floor.
