Protester’s shooting in Pa. caught on live stream: ‘This dude is shooting at us’

A cross-country trek by about 50 protesters seeking racial justice has been halted by a shooting in Pennsylvania, wounding at least one demonstrator late Monday night.

At least some of the incident was caught on a live stream being broadcast on social media by the group’s leader, Frank Nitty.

Yes, Bedford is pretty: rolling hills, mountains, Amish/apple and maple farm country. (I get a bottle of either Garrett MD, Bedford PA, or Somerset, PA maple syrup when I go home for Christmas, and Apple Pie In A Jar or apple butter, too.) And they were likely heading towards Cumberland on Route 220 South, which would be the closest pickup point to the interstate to D.C., unless they were taking a roundabout route so they could instigate as much rabble-rousing and showboating as possible. But again, if they took incoming fire on Lincoln Highway, they may have been heading for the PA Turnpike. Then they could catch I-70 in Breezewood to Hancock and take I-68 from there. Who knows what those maggots had planned. It's about time they got put on notice; maybe if there's a few more copycat encounters, they'll think a little harder about their tactics. You know cops in every jurisdiction are frothing at the mouth to drop a massive hammer on one of these 'peaceful' protests.
