Planned Parenthood Six-Figure Ad Buy Targets Susan Collins For Supporting Kavanaugh

Planned Parenthood has targeted Republican Main Sen. Susan Collins with a six-figure media buy highlighting Collins’ support for Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, according to the Hill.

The nation’s largest abortion provider launched the ad campaign against Collins Thursday with an ad that criticizes the senator’s support for Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court in light of his dissenting vote on a recent abortion ruling.

“Susan Collins trusted Brett Kavanaugh to protect safe, legal abortion,” says a female narrator in the ad, first reported by The Hill. “But she was wrong. Kavanaugh voted against abortion the first chance he got. Susan Collins can’t be trusted to protect our reproductive health and rights.”

The ad refers to the Supreme Court decision in June Medical Services v. Russo, in which Chief Justice John Roberts sided with liberal members of the court in the close 5-4 ruling that struck down a pro-life Louisiana law. Kavanaugh voted against striking down the pro-life law, and wrote a dissenting opinion.

The ad calls on Maine voters to “tell Susan Collins to reject Trump’s extreme judicial nominees,” and emphasizes that Collins had expressed confidence that Kavanaugh would protect Supreme Court precedent on abortion access.

“Susan Collins was warned by Mainers that Brett Kavanaugh couldn’t be trusted to protect their reproductive health and rights, but she failed to listen,” Sarah Standiford, national campaign director of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, said in a statement to The Hill.

This must be through their pac, but even so, Planned Parenthood should not be allowed to be involved in politics as long as it gets taxpayer money. This should stop.

The first Planned Parenthood used the eugenics center building before it got its own.
It promoted killing of inferior and deformed or defective people and races (Sanger’s eugenics ideas) but got going quickly into “family planning” by killing babies as their plan.

Now WE are forced to fund the rotten thing with our tax money (including bailout as “essential” places during the shutdowns) and watch statistics of babies who were killed before they had a chance to live.

Now the group is campaigning with our money to make more money on baby part harvesting sales profits by getting the right candidates re-elected.

Maine is lost...truly lost.Collins, who voted correctly at least some of the time,is likely to be replaced by a Rat who votes correctly NONE of the time.

The abortion issue is the democrat unholy grail.
They may disagree on certain other issues but, they circle the wagons in unison to protect their ability to murder babies in the womb and sell the body parts for profit. Profits which they profess to hate.
And, they fight like hell to be able to continue to do so.
Collins tried to have it both ways. Support abortion and vote for Kavanaugh to appease the right. Her state is a bit of a swing state in that while there is a majority left there are more than enough Republicans that she can’t simply abandon them.

I draw the line at killing babies. Losing Collins from the senate is no loss. Pick up a seat elsewhere and cultivate a real conservative candidate in Maine for the election six years from now. Collins, while having a mild demeanor, is a vile, evil bitch destined to burn in hell.

There will be no conservative candidates from a Maine henceforth. That day is now done. Sadly, Collins was the best, most electable, in the ranch.

Any business receiving federal dollars should not be able to fund political campaigns.

Susan Collins won 67% of the vote in 2014.

This time I expect her to be able to muster at least 50.1%, which is all she really needs to win.

The ads by RAT Sara Gideon AND Susan Collins are nonstop on radio and TV. At least $55 million will be spent altogether by the two sides. The ads started LAST year.

Even the RAT media admitted that the Sara Gideon’s negative ads about Collins are misleading and contain “falsehoods.”
Susan Collins and her people have run some tough ads again Gideon in return.

Trump carried the Second District, 80% of Maine, 27,000 square miles of land, by 10 points in 2016.

We had two terms of Paul LePage, the most conservative governor in the country, elected in 2010 and 2014. He was term-limited in 2018. He said he is running again in 2022.
We currently have RAT Janet Mills, a moonbat. Time to rectify that in 2022.

RCP average has it nearly tied (2.5% difference) within the margin of error.
Collins is the incumbent. If it's tied she wins.
