I think the man may have munched one too many magic mushrooms.
I’m sure, like me, many can see the difference between Trump and the old party hacks.
He actually explained why he lost pretty well. He also had a strong message for the GOPe, told them it is Trump’s party and they better get on board, or go down with the ship.
His point is that Sessions is too Trumpist to appeal to the old party hacks, but made the Trumpists mad with recusal, so neither faction could really get behind him.
Alabama likes football. Tuberville is a personable coach. Out with the old and in with the new. Tuberville will win in November and do a great job.
He did nothing as AG, so why would anyone expect him to do anything if they put him back in the Senate?
Because he was actually quite a good Senator.
Judas Sessions sold his soul the minute he recused himself from all things Rosenstein/Mueller/Russia. He opened the door for the corrupt FBI and DOJ to attempt to strangle the Trump Presidency in its infancy.

Sessions was NOT an Administrator.
The DOJ took him over the minute he assumed office.
He lost because he screwed Trump, Mueller never should have been appointed. Sessions never should have recused himself.
What’s amazing is Sessions has recused himself to this day. He still takes no responsibility and shows not a shred of remorse for his role in the coup that was launched against POTUS while he was AG in 2017. Meanwhile, his former deputy Rosenstein is on twitter supporting the ongoing coup hammer and tongs. I don’t think I’ve ever seen as tone deaf a politician as Jeff Sessions.
What’s to explain? Whether deliberately or by stupidity, Sessions was a Trojan horse who greatly harmed the President who trusted him, and greatly harmed the nation. What Sessions did might be forgiven by some, but it’s obvious most Republican voters won’t forgive him.

A hoax that stunted Trump’s first 2 1/2 years in office.
And is still being felt today.
He was a good Senator. But a terrible AG.
He was the wrong person for that job during that time.
He lost because he was a Deep State plant in the Trump campaign/admin.................
Sessions abandoned his post in the midst of a ferocious battle. Good riddance.
