They played the same game to “recuse” Devin Nunes and the GOPe and Paul Ryan rolled over like a desperate dog for a belly rub.

Sessions behavior as AG was very old party hack-like. That's probably where he got his 39% of the vote.
IIRC, Nunes was sidelined on a different pretext, that as chair of House Intelligence, he had been colluding with the WH and excluding the DEMs from relevant facts. It wasn't the same sort of "conflict of interest" argument used to sideline Sessions.
That said, all of it was a "game." All the action was based on a hoax that was known to be a hoax, and all was done with the intention of reveresion the results of an election, unsing the US government to advance a lie to the people.
Our government is despicable. Congress was in on it, exec departments in on it, and the Courts are in on it too.
Those Republicans/conservatives who believe there is some "middle ground" are simply useful idiots for the left.
That's a Sessions lie. And now you repeat it as we try to beat the Democrat Jones.
Sessions had a job to do as Attorney General, to protect and preserve the Constitution of the United States.
He failed.
The voters gave him the F grade he totally deserved.
Life is simple when you know the rules.
Why? Recusal.
Yup. Sessions feared the Deep State. He was afraid that they would try to frame him. So he recused himself, country be damned.
Color me a skeptic about Tommy...we will see.

I had no problem with the entire article loading.
But at any rate, America lost a vote for keeping it’s borders and instead got a “no borders” goof with Sessions lost.
Despite what it may seem, the simple truth is that U.S. Senators don’t work for the voters of their states. They work for the INDUSTRIES in their states.
I din’t vote for Jeff. He just pissed me off too much when he recused himself. Don’t know why he did it... I know I don’t trust him when the rubber meets the road though, so I went with TT. I think TT has a good shot at beating Jones... y’all best believe Jones has a base, especially on the Gulf Coast where I live. Lots of damn Yankees move down here and bring their voting habits with them.

Cannot believe idiot Sessions finally found his balls. Balls to ask the base to vote for him after working for Deep State for 3 yrs. who hate him BTW. Got smoked, 40% to 60%.

That has been my opinion also. He was too meek for the job and/or too trusting of snakes like Rod Rosenstein.
