A group that has camped outside the Durham, NC Police Department for more than a week has now blocked the street outside the building.
On Thursday, a protester told WRAL News the group used wooden pallets to block the headquarters building at 602 E. Main St. in downtown Durham around 3 a.m.
The Durham Police Department said they will monitor traffic in the area for the protesters' safety, and state transportation workers were at the scene expanding the road closures to manage traffic.

I used to back the police 100% and whilst there is good cops I am fed up of the leadership of police chiefs, mayors elected officials who cannot stand up to their crap. Get a water cannon truck like in Europe and then use rubber bullets or better still those bullets which when hit someone release paint so you can ID them later or ruin their clothes.

Durham is a craphole. I lived there for several years. It is completely taken over by an unholy alliance of liberal academics (Duke, and next door to UNC-Chapel Hill) and black racists. Couldn’t get out fast enough. They will completely cave to the woke mob and the already high crime rates will skyrocket.

In our small city the cowed police chief vowed to give BLM “space” and they shut down one of our busiest intersections on a Sat afternoon by lying in the road.

Further, the respective state National Guards should be policing these events to keep things on a still local but more neutral playing field. Having the police do so is like putting a spouse in charge of that couple's domestic dispute.
Get about 5-10 guys with pickup trucks, 20 more or muscle guys. Call a news crew and tell them to follow them.
Roll up to the blockade all together, stop, get out in force and grab all the road closure materials and throw them in the back of the pickup trucks.
Leave a sign that says “Open Roads Matter, too”. Make sure it is all on video.
Ten pickups loaded with men who are armed, to set up perimeter and cover.
Two trucks to sweep in and carry away the pallets.
