Iran may be preparing for conflict with Israel in Syria and no longer will accept Israeli airstrikes on its warehouses without a response, a report over the weekend suggested. Veteran journalist Elijah Magnier wrote on the website Medium about whether the great Middle Eastern war will begin in the Levant and cited Syria as a potential flashpoint.
Magniers report is interesting because he asserts that according to private sources, Iran is evacuating sites of the gatherings of its advisers, not for withdrawal or for redeployment, but to find bases within the Syrian Army barracks. Hezbollah has taken over the vacated Iranian buildings. Russia has been informed of the change so that the information would reach Israel. In mid-May, reports emerged that Iran might be withdrawing some of its forces from Syria, estimated at some 1,000 IRGC personnel. But analysts and US officials rejected this assessment at the time.
The June 6 piece by Magnier provides another view as to what may be happening: Iran no longer wants to accept Israeli strikes on its warehouses without any response. An airstrike killed nine Iranian-backed forces in Syria, Radio Farda reported over the weekend. This report also said there were explosions near Masyaf, a Syrian-regime and Iranian facility that has been hit by airstrikes in the past. That airstrike may have taken place on June 4.

They’re barely holding their own against jihadists supported by Turkey, but they’re gonna open a new front against Israel? This is the hashish talking.
Why hide their capability any longer? Israel should detonate a hydrogen bomb in the Pacific somewhere with the whole world there to watch. Make it the biggest blast ever detonated on Earth.

They can’t fight sleep but they want to fight Israel?
Why only somewhere over the Pacific? Why not on Iran, now, before it is too late?
not going to happen. The regime is deeply hated in Iran and with their covid-19 failure are even more hated, even in the military.
The Ayatollahs want to stir up trouble, but the locals don’t see Israel as the enemy - they see Saudi Arabia as the enemy.
Furthermore, an attack directly on Israel is going to bring out a revolution and the army will fight against the Ayatollahs. People can support the Irani wars in Iraq and Syria as those directly affect Iran. But a war against Israel? They will not be for this
crowds in Tehran refuse to step on American or Israeli flags
Because the overwhelming majority of Iranians will uprise against the regime if it starts a war with Israel. Israel is smart - it’ll let the IRanian government provoke the war and then sit back and let the revolution throw out the Ayatollahs

The actual damage, in terms of dead Syrian flag officers, has never publicly been revealed. However, the attack was enough to get the Syrians to thin out their front line air defenses* to protect the capital, leaving enough gaps at the front for an improvement in the success of Israeli air attacks against Syria’s invading tank columns.
* The Syrians were shielding their invading force from air attack with mobile surface to air missile batteries. Initially, at least, they employed this tactic with great success, taking a fearful toll on Israeli tac air sent up to stop them. The very thin line of Israeli tank units that stood in their way performed heroically, and suffered over 50% casualties.
In the end, though, it is possible that the Syrians retreated under threat of an Israeli nuclear attack, if an Arab victory (followed by what the Jewish state expected to be a root and branch genocide) seemed inevitable.
So there is one situation in which Damascus would be burned to the ground. And that is if Israel were about to fall to the Arab hordes. That is unlikely at the present moment, given Israel’s current overwhelming conventional superiority.
Possibly. You have to wonder if the weakening of the US, Israel’s once strongest ally, is emboldening her satanic enemies.
You’re probably right but Iran wants Israel to hit their population centers in order to gain sympathy/support for the regime there. If it comes to that many innocent Israelis and Iranians will die...

Well, at least Israel needn’t worry about losing support from OUR own duly elected satanic enemies.
Nancy Pelosi pledged: I have said to people when they ask me if this Capitol crumbled to the ground, the one thing that would remain is our commitment to our aid and I dont even call it aid our cooperation with Israel. Thats fundamental to who we are.
And when that happens, all these commie protests around the world will be meaningless because the real war would have begun.
I’m thinking it’s got to play out pretty soon also.
