Crew ingress in progress.
Second time is the charm.
The hell with bad news. Onward, forward, skyward and spaceward!
Godspeed Bob and Dough!
And all ya'alls, take the red pill.
What the hells with a stuffed animal floating around the cabin? Hope it dont hit the touch screen. Dont pull a Gus
...
Gus still gets blame for something he didn’t do.
He was respected by his fellow astronauts and had NASA’s complete trust.
I watched it with my 11 year old grandson.
Family did the same. It was nice and man exciting! God Bless America.
“I wouldnt be surprised if they retire that stage.”
Historical museum piece now :^)
Everyone get that message? Kristin Fisher was wanting Trumps replay statement after the launch, couldnt find it, instead we got the chants of the protesters, still cant breathe. Kristin asked for Trumps statement again and no go. Trump was trumped by the protesters at a great moment in America.
Well I’ll chime in here. One summer in college I worked with the USGS and the original astronaut teams out of Flagstaff who were developing observation and sampling procedures for the upcoming Apollo flights. Flagstaff was chosen because the area around Flagstaff had just about every type of landscape expected on the moon: Meteor craters, volcanic rock, desert landscapes, canyons and dust covered scenes. It was cut short by word of a heart attack by my father who with the rest of the family was vacationing in Southern California (he survived and lived for years thereafter).
But at least we are not begging Russia for a ride.
Some are sitting today watching blue cities burn to the ground. Then there are those of us watching a rocket burn its way into space.
“...Dont pull a Gus...”
“...Gus still gets blame for something he didnt do...”

What’s that all about?
Yeah, NASA will probably get it for their museum
Yep.
Patriots are watching America’s venture back into space, while leftists are happy burning down the place.
Before my time.
Saw it in a movie so it must be true /s
Jim Bridenstine made sure to keep his boss happy when he was interviewed.
There’s a movie that portraits him bringing up a rabbit’s foot or something that got loose and blew the mission. That’s all I know about it. I imagine very few people know the real truth
Just rewatched Discovery Channel’s feed. It was infinitely better. Less inane chatter. Actually showed the launch. The only thing missing was the first stage landing which looked like a satellite feed problem on the ship. The main room for improvement is that they need to kill the awful background music (or just replay the theme from The Right Stuff).
I’m with you.....I miss Bob Kranz.
LOVE the purple dinosaur!
That was so cool! Always exciting.
There is a lot of trial and error in space programs. This one had its share of um errors.
