Barr is right about those particular tweets and...Barr doesn’t seem to be doing his job.

It’s a two-fer.

When did Trump give Barr permission to declassify information related to the coup? Last May was it?

Has Barr declassified as much as a comma since then? Why give permission and make a big deal of it in public if nothing was supposed to be declassified for months?

Even Dan Bongino has become a bore (he’s out of excuses and down to bargaining with his listeners now) trying to defend the fact that nothing has been done about the coup in which Trump has gone through about 3 years of hell and innocent people have been unjustly persecuted.

I'm reading that the DOJ has NOT issued a recommendation and it's entirely up to the judge.

Either the judges politics will come to light and/or real, unbiased justice will come to light.

Barr is correct. If he’s really doing his job to expose this cabal, the last thing he needs is for it to be undermined by the president’s side color commentary. It makes an opening for others to shout that these cases are political retribution rather than the crimes they truly are. It also opens appeal avenues for adjudicated treasonists that their convictions were political and should be dismissed.

Trump sometimes needs to just talk in private .......

Barr is doing a Friday news dump, to establish a space between himself and Trump. It's a very good play, use the #MSM to assure Joe Sixpack -- otherwise the #MSM will use the exact same #Narrative space to scare Joe Sixpack.

President Trump could/should be aware -- and hopefully people like Stephen Miller will remind him of this -- that any talk surrounding sentencings or pardons is always 3rd rail electrified shit, don't grab it, don't touch it until it's settled.

90% of sentencing/pardon news is always a negative proposition; and the other 10% is when someone gets off scot-free and that's not always good news either (hello OJ).

You can't take transactionalism and force it into everything. And the corollary is, "Let Barr do his damn job, please. Because he's doing ok so far."

He’s absolutely correct. Trump is his own worst enemy here. Because of the tweet Barr has to go before Congress over the roger Stone matter. It’s not a helpful distraction from doing his job. If Trump pushes Barr out he should not be reelected.

You're right.   So far, in all his time in this office, Barr has accomplished a big, fat zero.   All the evil perps like Brennan, Clapper, Comey, etc., continue to smirk, and walk around free, snidely mocking all those who seek true justice.   And Barr pulls a Deep Mitt-er, and goes into the camp of the enemy (ABC), and takes shots at his boss, Trump, and apparently wants to "rip up" Trump's tweets, like Nancy Peloony ripped up Trump's SOTU speech.   (Did you hear Mark Steyn talking angrily about the disgusting, disgraceful stink currently existing in the DOJ, and the great big "nothing" being done about it, on the Rush Limbaugh show today?)

       

If Barr continues to accomplish nothing, the rotund bagpiper should play "Going Home" on his pipes, and the office of the Attorney General should be dis-Barred.   As someone else here already said, he should be replaced by someone like Jay Sekulow.
