Why didn't they quarantine them at a different location?! Risking and needlessly exposing active duty troops, staff and people who work on the base, directly or indirectly with this mystery virus is wrong. Even just on a psychological basis. Are they spraying down the base now like the Chinese are their streets? (Still wondering what that is all about...)

CDC confirms case in San Diego
https://fox5sandiego.com/news/cdc-confirms-2nd-coronavirus-case-in-san-diego/
The first and second patients arrived on different planes and were housed in separate facilities; there were no links between them.
It appears the only base where patients are currently quarantined in California is MCAS ...

Probably back to 3K/day range in Hubei.
The Doubling of Deaths is concerning. I doubt they weren’t counting deaths because they didn’t use the “official” test kit before they died, but I guess anything is possible in China.

Clicked on link but didn't see any text. As we said, they are our only source of medical supplies. Asymmetric warfare? You know, the first thing I thought on Jan 1st when reading about this virus from near Wuhan's lab? This was the Chinese long-term strategy to make sure the President is not reelected. So obvious that supply chain is the most powerful weapon against us. And given that Mao murdered 100mil Chinese, human life is meaningless to them when their own people die. Perhaps this is bleak, but Trump knows better than most what's at stake. I appreciate his playing it cool right now, but have confidence he's the most qualified American to navigate the country if the worst happens.

They aint going up right now.

Some folks said the growth of documented numbers was going down.
The growth had been in the 15 to 20% range. I was drifting down for several days, and esterday it was 4.82%.
That does not mean that we believe they are the total picture, or that the total numbers are going down.
Now it appears some of the recent day’s diagnoses were categorized differently, causing a big dump today.

Wait. I thought their new classification was supposed to *reduce* the number of reported cases!!

I seen one on a stretcher go into convulsions like this awhile back, too.

I agree 100%. We don't know what this really is, yet; but can you imagine the performance of any of the current Democrat candidates in a severe national crisis?
The Democrat contenders, in their shallowness - and their pandering to everything that DOESN'T really matter - all leave me scared $hitless.

As someone put it yesterday, we are in the first inning. We may have just moved into the second inning.

“I doubt they werent counting deaths because they didnt use the official test kit before they died, but I guess anything is possible in China.”
China didn’t count people who died if they weren’t tested.
Death certificate would say “pneumonia in the community” instead of the virus. This is documented in articles.
