He was a rapist. Deal with it': Disney heiress Abigail Disney weighs in on Kobe Bryant's rape case past
Daily Mail ^ | 1-29-2020 | Leah Simpson

Abigail Disney has weighed in on Kobe Bryant's controversial past, after actress Evan Rachel Wood and a Washington Post journalist were berated for tweeting about a rape allegation against him from 2003, just hours after his death in a helicopter crash Sunday.

Disney - whose grandfather Roy O. Disney co-founded The Walt Disney Company - tweeted: 'I haven't said anything about Kobe so far because I felt some time needed to pass before weighing in. But yes, it's time for the sledgehammer to come out. The man was a rapist. Deal with it.'

“He is dead. No need to bring something like this up even if true.”

We, as a society, must frown upon rape so as to discourage it.

Unless, of course, you like rape.

And I don’t idolize athletes or famous people.

But you defend them when they rape people.

It's an easy leap to make that you do so because you idolize them.

Why do you assume to know what happened

Because I have considered the totality of the known evidence and know a thing or two about human behavior, having a PHD from the University of Life.

You don’t

Yea. I do.

Just droning Kobe is a racist doesn’t prove jack

I had not considered that. Would you say raping a member(s) of another race defines one as a racist? I lost track of the rules lately.

But yea. Kobe's thoughts on race would be a type of evidence in an interracial rape. Wouldn't you agree? His thoughts about white people, for example, could expose a proclivity for raping them, perhaps?

Something to consider. It's a big world our there.

p.s. I do not seek to prove anything. I know what happened. I am only commenting on what I see as people unable to see the truth and defending rape. It's fascinating to me.

It looks like a consensual sex act that got out of hand for her because he was boorish and inconsiderate

Consensual kissing cannot turn into consensual intercourse unless the chick consents to the intercourse. Agree?

She says she didn't consent and has the physical injuries to prove it.

What more needs to be understood? All the rest of this jibber jabber is people defending a 'respected' and 'admired' popular athlete against rape charges from a 'nobody'.

These rape defenders disgust me, if you wanna know the truth.

like I said days ago he likely saw too much black guys demolish white girls porn

Yow.

***Attention FR Rape Coalition and Defense League***

Many of the points you all have made in defending rapist Kobe Bryant could be used, and have, in defending the child molester Michael Jackson.

Would you say then, that Michael Jackson was not a child molester?

Set aside your defense of the indefensible.

Case was dropped because the woman (not girl) refused to testify. Reportedly there was an issue with the DNA showing someone else's DNA where only Bryant's would be expected to be found.

Not convinced beyond a reasonable doubt about what occurred except what they agree on, and the DNA; Obviously there was some consent; unless one was there it is not possible to know when the woman, who admittedly went to his room and started kissing him, said "stop."

He, and she, is as guilty as every soul who must appear before the Judgment Seat.

No problem with going to trial; tragedy for all concerned; blame Bryant and the woman for the tryst that could have devolved into rape of some degree.

However, there was no trial because the woman refused to testify after the DNA came back from analysis.

Did you read the part about her saying that she had put on 'dirty' underwear that day?

Why would Bryant's DNA be suspected to be there? I find it fully reasonable that this chick picked up dirty underwear out of the clothes pile that contained DNA from a previous sexual encounter.

What's that got to do with Kobe raping her? Now you sound like a defense lawyer trying to muddy the victim's testimony and cast doubt on her by bring up her sexual history.

A very not cool tactic.

I’m from Mississippi my man black people are not a big mystery to me like they are to most FREEPERS Who know black people from the Cosby show or sports
I’ve been around them all my life partly raised by several

I listen to them ....in today’s age black studs think white women crave A good railing from them

it’s just how it is sorry to be the one to break the news to you

There is testimony from observers at the hotel who said she was interested in Kobe but I think Kobe in his zeal and lack of manners want too far

One thing for sure we’ll never know now

She was good looking by the way

How come pretty girls never followed me around scheming for my company lifes not fair

no, rape is only “bad” when it’s homo rape.
“was she alone with him in a room?” then of course she can expect sexual attacks. Her fault entirely. /s
“we must believe the rapist”

I’m from Mississippi my man

That explains it.

black people are not a big mystery to me

Nor me.

like they are to most FREEPERS Who know black people from the Cosby show or sports

Kind of an odd thing to say when you have no idea what 'most FREEPERS' life experience is.

There is testimony from observers at the hotel who said she was interested in Kobe but I think Kobe in his zeal and lack of manners want too far

I understand that she was scheduled to get off work but remained so that she could meet Kobe (also to make up for coming in late to work that day).

Interested to meet a famous person isn't the same as being interested in being raped by or being 'railed' by them, as you put it.

I'm from California, my man. Women are not a mystery to me like they are to most FREEPERS who know women from Orange is the New Black or cat videos.

I listen to them. It's possible that a woman would like to meet someone without wanting to bang them or be raped by them, despite your porn inspired racial theories.

I think Kobe in his zeal and lack of manners want too far

You won't convince me that rape is a 'lack of manners'.

She was good looking by the way

Of course she was. Only the best for the black mamba.

How come pretty girls never followed me around scheming for my company lifes not fair

Dunno. Maybe cause you're not rich and famous? Are you ugly?Fat? We can figure this out.

Whatever the answer is, if they had, I'm gonna go ahead and assume that you wouldn't be overzealous and show a lack of manners by raping them.

Like Kobe did.

You didn't hear the **prosecution's** characterization of the DNA evidence

We did hear about the prosecution's arguments: The prosecution said the wrong pair of panties were taken from the accuser's hamper. The prosecution also claimed the DNA evidence might've been contaminated by the lab. How many people would buy both those arguments?

He’d cheated on his wife and tarnished his own reputation. In a civil case, he would’ve had to testify about all the nasty details. Of course he settled.

She says she didn't consent and has the physical injuries to prove it.

You keep missing the point. The hospital exam found DNA evidence of another man, which indicated another partner after the alleged rape. That means the defense could argue the injuries were caused by the other man.

The prosecution had no case. No matter how much you might want to believe the rape allegation was true, it just wasn't credible.

“Show me one post I’ve made idolizing Kobe.”

Every post you make that denies what he did.

I’m glad you don’t worship Kobe, but it’s hard to know why else pointing out what he did affects you so emotionally.

I was not gracious to the man. I hate basketball given the antics of the majority of scumbags on the court. The NBA is banned in our household.

That being said it’s kind of nice to hear he may have been an exception. I only know him for the rape accusation, the testimony and the out of court settlement.

He could have been a champion ping pong player and It would not have made the difference to many people who simply do not care about the sport. Most of them would only know his name from the trial.

So let me get this straight. It's your theory that this girl had consensual sex with Koby Bryant and then went out later that night and was raped, resulting in the vaginal injuries, and decided to blame it on Kobe Bryant.

Is that seriously your contention, counselor? Despite the fact that Kobe was FORCED to admit that he had a long term and ongoing sexual affair with another woman in which he often choked the woman.

And that's what he was willing to admit, and only because he thought it would be exculpatory.

Kobe Bryant is dead.

Kobe Bryant was a rapist.

You are defending Kobe Bryant.

You defend rapists.

Science.
