A pair of moderate Republican senators said Monday that the major revelations from a soon-to-be released book by John Bolton strengthen the case for calling witnesses in President Donald Trump's impeachment trial — and even a top ally of the president said Bolton would be a "relevant" witness. Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, said it's "increasingly likely" there will be enough Republican senators to vote in favor of calling witnesses in the president's ongoing trial.
"I think, with the story (about Bolton's book) that came out yesterday, it's increasingly apparent that it would be important to hear from John Bolton," Romney told reporters. Romney said he hasn't fully made up his mind on calling witnesses, but what Bolton has to say is "relevant" and "therefore I'd like to hear it." "I think it's increasingly likely that other Republicans will join those of us who think we should hear from John Bolton," Romney said. "I've spoken with others who've opined upon this as well."

Hmmm. To "opine" on something just means to offer an opinion. It doesn't indicate which way the opinion went. Is he well-educated enough to know this? That is, is he trying to give the impression that those "others" agreed with him when some (or all) of them didn't?

I don’t know, but Trump asked for this when he appointed Bolton. I like Trump, but not his personnel decisions.
Would this be an issue if we had “jury sequestration”? These RINOs are allowing unsubstantiated outside comments to influence their decision and aid Democrats by continuing this charade. I would encourage them to stick to the facts, not a script written by Schiff. And, by the way, how do I get a refund for my contributions to Mitt’s presidential campaign? After all, I believe he committed fraud by running as a Republican.
