MSNBC host Rachel Maddow claimed Tuesday night that the "implosion" of the National Rifle Association (NRA) would be the biggest political news story if it weren't for the impeachment of President Trump.
Maddow began by touting the NRA's "legendary" power and major influence over politicians -- and then highlighted the rather turbulent year for the prominent guns rights organization. This included the revelation of Russia agent Maria Butina's attempt to infiltrate the group during the 2016 election and reports of the nonprofit's suspicious spending, which sparked an avalanche of lawsuits and investigations.

I left the NRA last year and truly despise paying for Waynes suits. But I hate the Madcow even worse. So, Ms MSBC, just so you know I rejoined the NRA today and paid for a 3 year membership. Ive only ever done a year at a time but Ive made an exception in your honor. I now belong to the NRA and GOA.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

What impeachment? There’s been no impeachment. Just some vague accusations.

Agree with you on that but my Tikka T3 Ultralight and Taurus 9mm will remain in my boating accident inventory as they were purchased years ago and I mourn their loss tremendously.

Butina was not a Russian agent & she didn’t try to “infiltrate”.
This FAUX News garbage was brought to you by a NeoCon agent for endless wars.

Dear Rachel, Ironically, you’re exercising your first amendment rights to try depriving gun owners of their first and second amendment rights. Even more ironic, gun owners are the real guarantor of your first amendment rights—and all your other rights too.

I left the NRA last year and truly despise paying for Waynes suits. I have trouble understanding peoples obsession with the president of the NRA having tailored suits paid for by the organization.
The guy has to hobnob with politicians as part of the job. In a sense he is required to wear a uniform. If he wears of the rack suits it is going to be noticed by the people he meats with.
If it makes him more effective in representing the NRA and achieving its goals I dont have a problem with the organization paying for the mans suits.
Before you flame me, yes, I know he makes about a million dollars a year. But he has, in my opinion been exceptionally successful in promoting the NRAs goals.

I am a lifetime member of the NRA and belong to
GOA too.
GOA is what we wish the NRA was, but we need them both.

Beau signed up as a Lifetime Member of the NRA close to 40 years ago. I joined when 0bama took the helm, though we all know that he was, ‘Gun Salesman of the Year’ for a full eight years, LOL! Pelosi is trying to match his record. ;)
I am also a member of Gun Owners of America.

I am too. Yes we need both. Theyve had some bumps, but their numbers and fundraising are all up. They just won a lawsuit against the city of SFO.
So they are in free fall is fake news

The NRA has served its purpose and done so very well. We are now in a Post NRA world. The NRA cannot go where we go next.

Add in the red flags about the way the NRA has diverted money from what's supposed to be its charitable foundation. Put it all together and it's no wonder the NRA appears to now be very worried about an ever-widening investigation by the attorney general of the state of New York." I wonder when the attorney general of the state of New York is going to open up an investigation into the Clinton Crime Family Foundation.
I wont hold my breath.

Thanks, Wayne LaPierre. When 2nd Amendment rights are under attack as never before, Wayne is busy making sure his nest is well-feathered.

"...implosion of the National Rifle Association..."
The left is believing their own propaganda - the NRA is just as it's always been (warts and all).
Still the best hedge against the gun-grabbers, no matter what Wayno is getting extra.
