Minneapolis officials told the Target Center, where Trump is slated to appear Thursday night, that it would be responsible for the $530,000 the city says it will need to beef up security for President Trump’s visit.

MPR is already downplaying the actions of lefties, but let this slip through.
I fear this could blow up into something historic if the pansy mayor doesn’t step up and do his job, which I have no reason to believe he will.
I hope that no one on FoxNews is so uninformed that they actually said the tickets were "sold." Trump rallies have never cost any money. You are just required to give your email address and cell phone number.
Everyone knows that they may not even get in, but it seems that just being with a huge crowd of like-minded Trump supporters keeps the crowds coming. I attended a rally in 2016 and it was a terrific experience.

I work in downtown Minneapolis - right on Nicollet Mall. Minnesota Freepers know where this. I’m only a few blocks from Target Center.
We’ve been warned about sizable traffic jams in the downtown area. We were also told:
“Stay focused on what’s going on around you while walking around downtown on Thursday and maintain situational awareness. Be aware of any posted signage and pay attention to alerts from security and police”
I’ve heard rumors bandied around about many protestors coming into the downtown area. Obviously, you can’t rule out that Antifa elements and other troublemakers will be present.
I do fear that people leaving the event may be targeted by Antifa members as they head back to their cars. I am somewhat fearful of some kind of chaos breaking out.
On a plus note, it’s expected to be rainy and cool tomorrow. Hopefully, that’ll dampen down (no pun intended) the troublemaker element.
I remember after Trump announced and we started learning about his personal habits there were people who were stunned to find out he neither smoked nor drank, and loved junk food. Yet, the man is a ball of energy in his early seventies. He enjoys his job, and despite the crap being thrown at him by the RATS, he clearly loves being in the pressure cooker. Clearly, we got the right man for these momentous times in our nation’s history.
Barnee was in Reno at unr a couple weeks ago. The local paper said hundreds of supporters turned out. Looking at their own photos it would be a stretch to get to one hundred. Buttplug had a couple dozen. Running beaver had some protesters. Biden? Didn’t know he was here.

As I remember, there was a post yesterday that the mayor of Minnesota was not going to allow Pres. Trump to have a rally. Looks like he caved in.
