You can see how the Deep State will handle this. FBI and Justice just doing there job by investigating. Nothing to see here. Depending the reaction, they will hang everything on McCabe...He’s the guilty one your Honor!

I understand that candidates get to keep the money they collect from donations to their purported runs for public office.

Your comments on this thread are spot-on. We can assume that since the IG report, McCabe’s lawyers have made various proffers but now that there is only one step left, he really is at the endgame. He probably has a day or two to offer up something really good in terms of testimony (like ratting out Comey?) that they can’t get otherwise, to escape indictment.

Until the indictment is unsealed he is still able to negotiate but it’s clear that AG Barr wants to bring this to an end.

There are many forms of punishment other than going to jail, for Comey I suspect it will be the “scarlet letter” treatment as I do not expect him to be indicted but having his image tarnished and his reputation ruined will hurt him deeply because he is such a narcissist. But McCabe is just plain a dirty cop and more than any I hope he does go to jail. It would take something humongous to not indict him if I were the US attorney.

As for the fact that it’s about lying about the Clinton Foundation investigation, so what? He lied to benefit himself because he leaked that information to protect himself and his wife from the $700K they accepted for her campaign. Corruption does not get any more blatant than that.

Yeah, but if it costs him his pension and gives him a felony conviction, I am all smiles. Other stuff later with the rest of the snakes.

I know I've run out of patience several times this is very good news. Lots of good news -

I've clutch my pearls a couple of times In my defense its difficult to sort through the fake news - its best just to go to primary sources and usually you can.

When its exposed just how much the chinese are involved in electioneer, illegal contributions the democrats and outright front groups that pass agiprop off as click bait. Reporters are going to start getting the clue - fair reporting or their criminality will be exposed and rooted out.

Its not moving fast enough for me but its way better then we ever could have hoped for. Ryan and McConnell screwed us but the coup might end up destroying the Democrat party for a couple of cycles the way the president seems to be setting the table.

In legal usage, “recommend” doesn’t mean suggest. It means the process has started.

Another horse shi! since no indictment will be on the horizon. It is all talk talk talk. The DOJ is just as ineffective as it always was.

This charge DOES NOT signify that the DOJ is prosecuting crimes by the Deep State against Trump.

True, but it means the process has started. All along I viewed whether McCabe was prosecuted on these IG charges as a litmus test of whether Barr was operating in good faith or not. He’s just passed that test, so it’s time to give him the benefit of the doubt, sit back, and wait and see.

It doesn't mean that the process has started by Barr to go after crimes committed by the Deep State against our side. That's still TBD.

This is an example of a leak and some lies that actually hurt Hillary and Obama. We only know at this point that the process to defend the Deep State against that leak and those lies has started.
