Here's a very simple way to look at it. McCready has won Mec. eday by 1200, with 27/50 precincts. So he could get another 1200 if he kept it up.
But he's down >2500, and can fall further elsewhere as election day votes come from rural areas.

Man, f*** Meck. They’re generating votes.
I don’t know. 35 of the precincts to be counted are in McReady counties, only 5 in Bishop’s. Mecklenberg has a ways to go.
Actually the Mecklenburg portion of the district is probably a plurality of Republicans. But a lot of them are the squishy, upscale, country club types (Ballantyne area in particular) and that type loathes Trump and his supporters & ran screaming towards the left in 2016 and 2018. Not just here but in every similar suburban area.
Factor in the permanent-PMS nutzoid single white women who thrive in those areas, and who loathe Trump and his supporters just as much, and these areas are not necessarily loaded with Democrat registrations, but they are hardly “our” people either.
