Curious that he didn’t give him a chance to “resign”. I wonder if there is more explanation to come.

Bolton’s clock was ticking on day one...he knew it. Would be curious to see how quick CNN reacts to hiring him as their expert guest.

I’ve got a feeling that Jared and Ivanka are behind all this “ let’s hold hands with our enemies” BS. I always thought that Bolton had it right with dealing with strategic adversaries. I know that is not in vogue in the “new” conservative views, but that’s how I feel and I respect other views as well.

The right answer is a unilateral, and complete withdraw of US forces from Afghanistan.
Without conditions, and without a “deal”.
The United States has absolutely no interests there that justify military involvement on any level.
It’s a problem for Pakistan, China and Iran to solve.
Or not.
And no, I don’t care what happens there when we’re gone.

I never did like that cheesy stache...... It will be very interesting to see who replaces him. No names come quickly to my mind. Wilford Brimley?..........................

Good, this guy just seemed off. Too eager for war everywhere.

So are you a neocon more broadly, thinking we should engage in more wars?

The next one that should be fired is Chris Wray.

Non-intervention is not “new” for real conservatives.
