Convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein is dead, law enforcement sources said Saturday.
A gurney carrying a man who looked like Epstein was wheeled out of the Manhattan Correctional Center around 7:30 a.m. The ambulance went to New York Downtown Hospital.
The incident comes two weeks after Epstein, 66, was placed on suicide watch after he was found nearly unconscious in his cell with injuries to his neck.
The multimillionaire financier is being held without bail pending trial on child sex-trafficking charges. Thousands of documents unsealed Friday in connection with a defamation case against the perv’s alleged recruiter revealed dozens of high-profile names that a self-identified victim, Virginia Giuffre, said she was forced to perform sex acts with, from former Maine Sen. George Mitchell and ex-New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, money manager Glenn Dubin and MIT professor Marvin Minksy.
Epstein was busted July 6 over the alleged sexual abuse of dozens of young girls in his Upper East Side townhouse and his waterfront mansion in Palm, Beach, Florida, between 2002 and 2005.
He has pleaded not guilty and faces up to 45 years in prison if convicted.

per CNN: Daily psychological assessments were conducted on him, and at the end of the month, psychologists with the Bureau of Prisons took him off suicide watch, according to a source familiar with the matter.
Somewhere I read that they were cuffed, but, his wrists in this photo seem to be too far apart for him to be cuffed.

I had assumed up too this morning that either she was cooperating OR had some claim on diplomatic or foreign intelligence immunity.
But Epstein's death leaves her in a tight spot.
I presume she is Mossad and that Dan Coats and Susan Gordon had her back.
Jared and Ivanka probably have her back as well.

Yeah that’s right Suicide “Watch” is exactly what happens... people who think suicide watch / direct observation of high risk / high profile inmates is about protecting the inmate is foolish. Direct observation of Epstein was required to protect the integrity of the Justice System. It’s not about HIM it is about the integrity of every law enforcement and correctional officer in The United States no matter Local, State or Federal.
The justice system sustained irreparable harm today.
We’ve had several people post today who have had personal experience with ‘suicide watch’ in various institutions. There appear to be established SOPs, and it is apparently done correctly most of the time.
Obviously, this time, it was NOT.
(On the other hand, now the ‘news’ is telling us that he wasn’t any longer ON ‘suicide watch’...)
Sgt. Schultz is investigating this case and he’s already on record as saying.
“I know nothing”

Again, not the point. This guy should have been on direct observation just because a claim of Suicide would hurt the Justice System and We The People will completely lose any faith in the system if any harm comes to him. We keep him alive until he is convicted because that’s what we demand of Law Enforcement Professionals Not because this idiot was “worth” keeping alive but because we are a Nation of Laws and our Justice system IS worth it.
Justice DIED today not just Epstein.
‘Justice’ is an ideal. Ideals don’t ‘die’, unless everyone stops revering them.
Institutions die. And then Ideals build them again.
Wonder what will happen to the guards.
New jobs? Kid’s college paid for? Or an accident in a few months.
Now this story will be off the screen by Friday of next week, and a lot of powerful people are sleeping easier in their lairs.
