Yeah that’s right Suicide “Watch” is exactly what happens... people who think suicide watch / direct observation of high risk / high profile inmates is about protecting the inmate is foolish. Direct observation of Epstein was required to protect the integrity of the Justice System. It’s not about HIM it is about the integrity of every law enforcement and correctional officer in The United States no matter Local, State or Federal.
The justice system sustained irreparable harm today.
We’ve had several people post today who have had personal experience with ‘suicide watch’ in various institutions. There appear to be established SOPs, and it is apparently done correctly most of the time.
Obviously, this time, it was NOT.
(On the other hand, now the ‘news’ is telling us that he wasn’t any longer ON ‘suicide watch’...)
