I swear, I thought the sister was... kind of plain looking in a weird way, but this did not occur to me. And it turns out the shooter was protesting the KKK just 3 months ago. So 3 months ago he’d have been a liberal hero, the anti-racist with the trans sister. Now? I don’t know, man. This younger generation is just all over the place. They are chaotic. They don’t know what the heck they believe. That kid in El Paso also... one minute railing against immigration, the next going on about universal health care... I know people like to sneer at those of us who fit neatly into one category or another, but at least we have some sense of identity and location. These kids are like melting clocks floating in deep space.
